Just had a pleasant surprise as Irfan called to say that he has now passed all fitness tests and will be participating on behalf of KRL in the RBS ODI tournament. Keen followers of the world’s tallest first class cricketer will know that his last major tournament was the RBS QEA trophy where he represented KRL and made headlines with some fine performances.

Pakpassion catches up with KRL skipper Mohammad Wasim to discuss how the season is going for Irfan in the QEA Trophy.

Well folks, just had an interesting and uplifting chat with Pakistani cricket's newest sensation - Mohammed Irfan. In the past when I have spoken to him, he has sounded a tad tired - a little brow beaten - a man who has felt that the weight of the world is on his shoulders.
