Sikandar Raza, in his exclusive interview with PakPassion, reflects ...

It's embarassing how poor our keeper and tail are with the bat. I have never seen such an inept lower order in our history and not even if you take into account most other (half decent) test nations.

Sarfraz is simply not up to it. Sure, he's a decent enough keeper, but his batting is worse than Morne Morkel's. Same story I'm afraid if we pick Adnan. England have Prior, SA have ABD, India have Dhoni and we have Sarfraz. Chalk and cheese springs to mind.

Tanvir Ahmed is actually decent with the bat, more than decent for a number 8 infact. But his bowling is so pedestrian he should come with a flashing green and red man and a lollipop lady.

Gul has shown that he can strike a ball in the limited overs format but unfortunately he is just not delivering with the ball at test level. His batting has also been poor.

Ajmal is so good that we can ignore any shortcomings in his game or even character. I would even have him if he was running a sweat shop in some pind in Faisalabad.

Irfan has some good attributes (Pace, height) but he is a LONG way from a test match bowler, especially as anything other than a third seamer. His batting and fielding are a joke and I wouldn't pick him again unless he can get his bowling and fitness up to such a level where he walks into our test side.
