The title says it all really.

I am honestly wondering if the selection of the ODI team had an influence on the performance in the 4th test match. Throw in the mixture the high profile dropping of a certain Mr. :malik.

Would you blame something else, or is it that we are simply that bad!

I mean it was a placid pitch, come on if Broad can scrore 150+. I watched the match up until tea today and I can say there was nothing in the pitch while we were in the field. True there was something when the English players came on the field - but you get a little bit with the new ball. We played them in the Oval better than here, although this pitch is suited to our style more. Also consider two spinners :farhat and :ajmal using the second new ball.

I agree but maybe it is not the best thing to do - how would it hurt to announce it after the tests?

No.

There is a corellation between the TEST team selection and this performance.

Salman Butt after the Aussie win question what the 2 Ys had done previously. They certainily hadn't been bowled out for under a hundred FOUR times in a series.

Not at all.

I mean the selection process is a joke. But our average batting side, crumbles under an ounce of pressure.
