He is averaging 18 in 4 matches, got 46 in one game so that makes 27 runs in 3 matches, total of 73 runs. He can't use the excuse of burnout because he only joined the tour half way.
Is he distracted by the off field action?
He needs to sort it out, Pakistan can't afford it if he plays like this in the World Cup. On another note, Pakistan is playing all their World Cup games in Sri Lanka and in SL :moyo averages 19 in 21 games. Younis Khan averages 41 in SL and the poor guy still isn't in the team. Shouldn't the squad be built with the WC in mind?

I was expecting him to be our leading run scorer for this series. All is forgotten by that catch he took today. Even Jonty would be proud of that :moyo

He's been that way for the last year and a half. Hasn't done much in any format apart from the odd 50.

Yousuf failed in Australia and England.I dont understand why people still wants him in the team.Any player would have been better than him.It is time for him to go.

Since he has been called back and now should be persisted with and given time to get his form back before the WC, where he can be useful with all his experience.

That's because YK plays Murali exceptionally well and Moyo doesn't have a clue against him.

Completely agree. And I have been saying this for a long time. Moyo is at best a spent cartridge.

Yea he has beeen dissapointed but that crucial catch was just awsome...loved it. what a catch by yousuf kinda fielder and that too of morgan...that was the winnnig moment right there. i think yousug is good at no.3 where he has to face pacers...when he comes in at 4, he gets to play spin bowlers in which he is struggling dont know why....so he should come at 3 with same order to follow....i really wish younis makes a comeback so yousuf could sit out but should be in the 15 man squad...

Yes, flat tracks, no quality spinner. He still will not average more than 40.

A few bad games by his standard (not by Pak standard), some hard luck including a raw umpiring decision and people here are calling for his head? That too after him joining the squad in middle of tour for the 3rd Test with no cricket for 6 months? You guys needs to chill out, he is still our best batsman, Afridi and Razzaq can't score big and Fawad, Umar and Asad are still young and need to start scoring more than 50s. Give Yousef a little more time and he'll get back in the grove.
On a side not, the catch he took yesterday and the catch he took in the T20, both were gems and shows his commitment to the team. This while one of our socalled better fielder Afridi spilled two catches yesterday.

He's out of touch, and the English pitches and conditions not the easiest to come back into. I remember reading Yousuf hadn't touched a bat in 6 months before making his comeback, I'll bet my bottom dollar that he'll make a couple of hundreds against South Africa.

Be very prepared to announce bank-ruptcy in a couple of weeks then. :)
