Asking for good governance is his fruitless chore, but instead of constantly emphasizing the ouster of the senile old man, we must raise our voices against the cronies in the PCB. Men like Zakir Khan, Saleem Altaf, Wasim Bari, the RANA GANG, Yawar Saeed, and Intikhab Alam have been just as cancerous. There impact on Pakistan cricket may be even worse because they give every chairman bad advice to maintain power and ultimately their jobs. These men are the facilitators of corruption at the administrative level and at the player level. Players are less likely to bite cricket balls and bet on games when they are being punished, along with the fact that the board's behavior is exemplary and moral. We must raise our voices or else soon men like Saleem Malik will be coaching our players. In fact, if you guys remember Ijaz Butt Zardari Bhutto hired him to run the National Cricket Academy.

I just vomited after writing that last sentence. As Pakistanis we must stand up against wrong. Yes, this is only a forum but wrong can no longer be tolerated and we must speak up so the cricket world knows that it isnt the players, its the administrators.

The administrators forced three openers into the team two of them (Hafeez and Farhat) who don't belong there. You can curse Shahzaib all you want but he deserves his shot. Mohsin Hasan Khan is running after a paycheck. He must be criticized till kingdom come.

INSAFtak. this is why PTI will never win an election. There arent any pakistanis who believe in justice. At the moment there are 2 out of a couple thousand.

I agree with you and you know most people here agree with you but do you have any sort of plan to get rid of these people? or is this going to be one of many hate PCB/Ijaz Butt thread in which everyone is going to take out their frustration and then forget about.

We focus a lot of attention on Ijaz Butt, but it is the meethi churi of the likes of Wasim Bari and Rana brothers that is killing Pakistan Cricket. Wasim Bari is a sycophant but in my opinion these Rana brothers are criminals. Yet each and every one of them is linked to the cricket board.

We need people to start writing articles about these men so people gain awareness of a what kind of negative impact they have had on our players. Im not sure if the Amir story in the NATIonal is true but if it, its a huge deal. Aamer should still get a severe punishment but the ICC should go after men like Intikhab Alam who knew about match fixing in the 90s but turned a blind eye to it because he wanted to maintain his job.

This is where the problem is.
Majority of vote casting Pakistanis (The Jiyalaas) do NOT think there is anything wrong with the Zardari, his acts and his hand picked friends who are placed on the most important administrative positions.

Just recently I met a Jiyala who was ready to fight till death in the defense of Zardari being the best EVER thing happened to Pakistan (Trust me, these folks are the voting majority)

So if the majority thinks its right then its right. A small minority like you and me lose it right there.

I'll tell you why our opinion doesn't count. Because we can't be bothered to Vote! May be its time for us to get out of houses on a voting day for the first time in our lives to ensure that incompetent people are not picked to run the government. We should also try and help the 'jahils' in our community to make the right decision. Voting is not a privilege; it is a responsibility. If not for your country, let's vote next time for the sake of our team.
