Who will be watching all 7-8 hours of test each day???

That is what I'm waiting for. We can then watch the real cricketers and the pretenders like Afridi can go home.

To be honest, I am desperately waiting for Test series to begin. I might sound stupid but I love watch a batsman innings in Test rather than T20 and ODI because in test he plays lots of beautiful strokes which we really don't get to see in T20 and ODI's. In these two formats a player is mainly slogging so I don't like cameo sort of innings.
One of main reason why I am desperately waiting for the Test series to begin is to watch Mohammad Yousuf in action and wishing him all the best to perform.

I think Steyn will eat us alive in test matches. Plus, our bowling looks very weak.

For me Test match is all about watching experience and great competition on a great pitch. Result win/loss doesn't matter much. Sadly pitches will be flat so thunder bowling with swing and bounce is so not happening. Not like you really need all that against our batting line-up, but from a spectator's point of view Test matches in Asia are outright boring.
I will still catch highlights, but pleasure of Test matches we recently saw in England and Australia will sadly not be there! Foolish 3 stooges have ruined our chances of playing Test matches as a home team in England!

I wanna see Youhana, bat, hopefully, gets couple of centuries!
Hopefully the youngins get a game or two, and score big!

I agree! Watching test matches in England (specially) is something special. I don't think any other countries atmosphere can match England's test matches atmosphere.

a cricket tour is a lovely thing; a few thrilling one-days to get the taste of things, and then the real Test battle. LOVE IT.

I hope the pitches support the bowlers, also, don't wanna see 600/3
A even contest between bat and ball, is what I'm looking for!

Tests will definitely be followed closely. Pitches will play an important part for the interests to be maintained.
Both teams have quality players and it will be a good competitive series as the Pakistani batsmen will find it relatively easier and YK coming back is a great news.
Pakistan's bowling will be effected in the absence of aamir, but of what I have seen of Wahab in the ODIs, I think he will be a handful on these pitches and could turn out to our trump card.

Won't be keeping up with our bowling as much for obvious reasons. Looking forward to see what Younis can pull off, he's had some valuable time in the middle this past series so he should string together a few handy scores, Inshallah. Hopefully see Umar Akmal come back to form :).
I definitely think I'd be paying more attention if the Test series was being played in South Africa.

IT will be a tough test for Pakistan, we don;'t have bowlers for a test match.
No Danish Kaneria, no Amir, no Asif.
ODI and T20 you can get away with Shoaib and Gul and Riaz. But in a test match, Shoaib will not play, and the rest are not that callibre.

I will be More active while test series is on in compare to ODI series. I found ODI Series so much interesting and I like to keep watching the game rather than concentrating on posting on PP. I do post though here and there.
But I will surely be active while Test Series is on.. Because, Test Matches are the place to post your technical comments with common sense.

I'd love to watch test cricket if we could be the least bit competitive.
Maybe I'll watch when Younus comes out to bat. I've lost faith in Yousuf. Misbah uncle is captain. There's no Amir or Asif. Akhtar doesn't play tests. There isn't even Kamran Akmal to show us his comical drops.
What's there to see anymore?
I love test cricket, but I'm afraid these two tests will be the worst ever. Hope I'm proved wrong though.

Agreed, the post I have quoted are one of the things why I am looking forward to the test more then I have then the ODI's and T20.
The reason why I'll be looking forward to the test more then the limited overs are because...
In Test Cricket you get to see the most out of a player - you get experience their main strength and weaknesses and get to see more of them. I mean test cricket could be ideal for a youngster who has bags of potential but cannot reveal it to the fans as he needs to show more of his talent in a longer format.
Pakistan may not be succesful in test cricket but as a fan you want to see your players perform as long as possible.
I'll be looking forward to several players such as the likes of Moyo and Younis mainly because test format is the ideal format for them and I personally believe if we are to see the best out of the two seniors then test cricket is the answer.
Along with those 2, I'll be looking forward to seeing Zoni - last time he played he fought like a soldier and made a battling 88, however the performances in the ODI matches could affect him and the fine he has recieved could affect his confidence too.
Cannot wait.
