I laugh at people who think he doesnt check his average and how it compares with others regularly.

^^^MQ, No idea what you said there but my main beef is with fans who can never accept their hero/team made a boo boo/mistake...

Lets accept that there definitely was a much more respectable way to lose the game and just move on...but most Indian fans don't even know if it is a valid option!

Nothing Monsee... par aapne mere mazak ki dahi kar di....:)

i just said you being too emotional there ....;-)

bhawuk(hindi word) <==> emotional

Well tbh I didn't see much that Tendlu could've done--BUT he should have definitely at least tried to hit out, avert the innings loss. I don't think he's as selfish as Stewie is saying--but we know he loves his achievements and since it was a lost cause anyway I guess he just thought "oh dash it all yaar subkuch Sachin kay toand pay kioon daltay hain?" Fair enough--it's not iddeal but it's one way to go, certainly.

Saqi had teendas number for majority of his career, romali Roti.
You are obviously forgetting that! Got your ass handed to you in the Chennai test and teendz admitted he cried himself to sleep that night. He is a sucker for stats and individual glory.. Nothing you can do to convince even some of your own country men otherwise
:)

Awesome logic!

First you say he plays only for records. Then you say he cried even though he made a century but his TEAM lost!

Why wasn't he partying celebrating his century if he plays only for records and stats?? Why did this loss hurt him so much if he had already made his 100??

Since all of us are guessing.... here are few more guesses....for the reasons behind his crying in 1999;

my be he cried becuase you don't want to lose to arch rival.

or

my be he cried because he knew that innings will became a "black dot/daagh" on his 50+ test 100 career.

or

may be he cried because he knew that people will blame him for the loss.

Who knows...... why he cried???

As far as mourning a loss or celebrating a 100 is concerned. read this;

But nobody is guessing about why he let the tail face so many deliveries!! They are certain it was to ensure his average was a few decimals ahead of Kallis'.

Here's another guess why he cried in 1999: May be his engineering calculator that he uses to keep track of everybody's average in real time, after every innings, broke!

This thread has become a joke.
