I been trying to convince my slef that PP is in good shape and there is nothing wrong.
I can't take it anymore, first Waheed left and now Umar out of blue. Then new Merger joins in from no where and now will have completely changed site in few days. New MOds, new site. There is no more frindly envoriment areound here and no knows any one. IN the old PP every one knew each other and felt home.
In this place site, mods change like pakistani domestic players. What is really going on behind the scene

Its called RESISTANCE to CHANGE.
Its the same for all of us. This way is the ONLY way.
To be in control of our own destiny is great. No bloke called 'Dave' threatening to do this and that; no scum from next door to worry about.
Also, Admin have excellent tools at theior disposal to effectively mange the forum.
I agree the merger is an issue-but it will all be sorted in a day or so.
Mona-you say that 'PP doesn't feel like PP anylonger'...have you seen all the 'anti-Shoaib' threads?
Nothing has changed!!

...well thats because its NOT the same anymore.
PP had evolved. It could not be contained within the SN framework anylonger.
I guess you have been with the old style PP from the beginning so you were totally set in the old style-but then I have been here since 2003, and loved the old PP.
But we have to move on. As Geordie says, we WILL get used to it.

...and there is always Pakmania site if you need your daily 'fix' of SN and being close to *** site!

It's not the layout that's bothering me though. As SD said, there is no friendly and homely environment anylonger and everyone seems like a stranger. And I'm missing some people who don't post as often now :o^

Why so many people leaving at the wriong time. I reckon there is more to it then just new site. MOds change hand every day

Well Mona the only way the frienndly and familiar atmosphere will return is by posting more.
i like yourselfs have noticed a lot of change in PP lately, i agree it doesnt feel the same BUT its no point feeling "down" or anything, just post more and im sure it will get better!

Friends:
Can I add to OxyBhaiJans words:
This is still PP - if you feel PP was made up of 1 or 2 individuals, then I am afraid your assumption is correct. However, if I can convince you that PP is now a bigger and better place , with more people from different backgrounds posting to it, then the question of individuals will go away.
Umar and Waheed are my very good friends - infact let me say that Umar has been the reason why I developed an interest in staying with PP. I, just like you, feel that his and Waheeds loss is a great one but they themselves will point out that they are not bigger than PP?
Guys, this is life, and Alhamdolillah, Umar and Waheed are in the best of health but they are no longer a part of PP - there are personal reasons for this parting of ways and thats the way it should remain - personal.
As for the future, Hitman, Mona, SD, Marooned etc - have you ever considered this - you guys ARE the seniors here ? Why dont you pick up the baton that Umar and Waheed have placed in your hands and run with it ? Create interesting threads - do the things you guys used to before - Umar will still contribute and so will people like me ( oldish words of wisdom etc )
To me you guys are the future of PP - we all spend a lot of time here and have established reputations/nuances etc - lets make it worthwhile, can we - please!

Guys I give you the example of the Windies team who were champions of their time but then stood still and got caught up and overtaken by other nations.
We needed to move from SN. We have a bigger and better site now, with much more potential. Currently some of the regulars are not posting due to work, personal circumstances etc. Example Farhad, Monsee etc.
