I must confess The more I get to know about Dravid the more I like the person not only as a player but as a person ( that saying a lot since as a Pakistani I uslually dislike all Indian ccricketrs when they play against pakistan .)

Rahul Dravid has urged Indian fans to treat the Pakistan side well when they tour India soon, in order to reciprocate the warmth Pakistani fans had given Indian players and fans last year. Writing in his column in the Times of India, Dravid wrote: "[I] hope we will watch, cheer and support the teams in the spirit in which the game must be [played]. The home team will appreciate and be inspired by your support, but we would also hope that our opponents and their fans are respected."

Remembering past encounters between India and Pakistan, Dravid wrote that India's "most cherished memories" were "outside the field of play. The standing ovation of the Chennai crowd. The spontaneous applause of the people at Karachi airport. Watching Indians fans with Indian flags and facepaint walking along with Pakistani supporters on the streets of Lahore. The people have made these series as memorable as the players."

India-Pakistan matches also played a big role in the evolution of all the players who took part in them, he said. "No-one who has played in any of these contests can claim to come away from them unaffected. They help you grow as a player and as a man. They have inspired the players to produce some magical moments."

I like dravid too, he's the only Indian batsmen that helps them win. All the others just reach pointless milestones but india still lose.

Hopefully Dravid used up all his luck against us in the last series. When he got 180 odd he was out 3 times but was not given. Lets hope this time round the umpires don't screw us like they did in Australia.

Sehwag and Ganguly are the sorts of players that will give you chances to remove them but if you drop catches of Dravid, Tendulkar and Laxman, they will make you pay with big scores. We need to catch all our catches and also appeal strongly.

I also hope Rudi Koertzen will not be allowed anywhere near India when we are playing.

How can u say such drivel? Rahul Dravid has a superb defence, he plays all the shots and so gracefully too, proper technique, he never looks flustered. He is fantastic to watch.

when he gets going he is a pleasure to watch, when he starts his innings though he needs a bit of time to get going. But as i said, when he gets going he is a marvel to watch.

Honestly Gary. I cannot have an opinion in this forum at all

dravid was okay until he had that tussle with shoaib earlier this year.

i think this is as much a publicity stunt for his squeaky clean nice guy image more than anything else.

He is the only player with immense concentration for long periods of time. The only player that i think comes close to him is Shoaib Mohammad.Although boring to watch but super effective in getting the work done.
