sure. Your situation is the same as mine last year though I'm part-time (mainly interested in maths and history but I do it as a hobby)

use social media to promote yourself, make a youtube channel with your own videos commenting on stuff, with twitter and facebook to grow a following. start a blog, write articles many people have become famous this way. there are a few books on this which help you but cant remember them, i will recommend you on to daniel priestley 'key person of influence' programe (google it), buy the book, read it and attend one of the shows.

Try and stay objective. I know your work requires a lot of speaking, but practice beforehand so you only say the stuff that is true to the fact - trust me it would set you apart from the rest of RJs.

Always try and source your articles.

Try your darnest to sound appeasing to everyone.

Most importantly, enjoy yourself whilst working! :)
