Many of posters here inquired about the padskins I have so here is the review of them. So like many of you here - i play both in white and coloured kits and really did not want to spend money on a quality pair of coloured pads, considering i love my BAS 20/20 ones.

I found out about these PadSkins though this forum and messaged Richard right away. we exchanged a bunch of emails and he got me sorted with a pair of black padskins.

Initial thoughts - the material looks and feels like very good quality. the skins fit effortlessly over my pads - after ordering i realized that i had two strap pads and these are made for three straps. i was able to counter that by weaving the straps through the extra hole - it worked like a charm.

I used these in a game on saturday and i didnt even remember i had these on. my main concern was the comfort - i dont really care how these things look - but in the end they dont look that bad actually. With the complete kit - they look kinda cool i think.

Service wise richard was excellent. very open communication - kept me up to date on what was happening with my order and a pleasure to deal with as well. I look forward to placing more orders for my team in the near future.

Some not so high resolution pics for you guys to see:

Thse Padskins look great on your pads, you play even better with these on. Run like a cheetah and play shots like a pro with that crazy upper cut for six over the point boundry at the mavis ground :)

Forgot to add that 8 ball 22 at the Creditview ground (with your newberry)

Pardon me for poking in but which ground are you guys talking about ? There is no ground on Mavis if I remember correctly, unless you're talking about Cassie Campbell one...

Cheers for this mate!

Do you know why they ceased it permanently because these clads people look a bit expensive.

Also may I ask what kit do you have?

good idea but not good enough to run it as a standalone business!

not as many people who have to use different colored pads all the time?

The ones playing better levels get pads for free or at a big discount - so they wont be bothering with such covers!

First time I saw them they reminded me of the doona/pillow covers!!

Couple of weeks ago I was watching highlights of MCC and some next county playing in UAE (Samit Patel's team) and they were using these padskins, green ones if I remember correctly

Cricket in Colour stopped trading over a year ago. If you saw pad covers being used in the MCC game I would've thought they would've been from Clads.
