Brothers,

My wait has finally ended and i have just received my CA Plus 12000 TRD. Folks let me tell you, its
an amazing piece of willow.

It weighs 2.8 and has near perfect balance for me. My brother purchased it for me from
CA factory in Sialkot and it cost 21,000 PKR.

I have bounced an old ball on the blade and the sound is awesome. I have used a
CA Plus 12000 and confirm that there is difference between a normal 12000 and TRD.
The main differences would be, shape, sweet spot and cleft. The sweet spot is huge on TRD
and just ends centimeters from the toe. The ping on this bat is amazing as well.

All in all, its an excellent cricket bat and pictures posted below, certainly dont do justice to the bat.

Actually CA bats come with a scuff sheet and it is how you put it actually.

There is a shop in Jinnah Super or Super Market but that guy is nuts and his prices are very expensive.

I would say contact Armie from batsandmore in Islamabad as he is there and he will give you an impressive stick!

Thanks Uzair Bhai, the edges are 35mm.

As Uzair Bhai said, the anti scuff sheet was provided with the bat. i left the space at the toe purposefully because i wanted to get some extra protection on the toe.

I would suggest that your friend goes to CA's factory in Sialkot. It will take 4 hours from ISB but he will get to choose from the best available collection. Shops have limited collection and that too with the weight you might not be comfortable with.

Uzair bhai, the only thing i did not like was the grip. CA should have a better quality grip for their top of the line bats.

Quite big bat for its weight. InshAllah, in future I will buy a TRD as well, have been impressed by them seriously!

I agree, the grip on CA bats is not top of the line so I would have expected a bit better from them as well.

But who cares about the grip if you get a beauty ?

Very true :D

This bat is a beauty. I went to AJ Sports today to purchase GM grip but they dont have a good collection of grips so had to settle for white octopus grip.

The price of TRD in AJ Sports was 1350 AED (32000 PKR), just insane.

one thing that bothers me every time,I look at these LE CA sticks, is why has a PAKISTANI brand "CA" chosen the MURTAD, DILSHAN to represent/promote their top of the line product.......why???

Surely there are many better batsmen than DILSHAN(based on ability alone)who should be promoting their brand.......preferably a PAKISTANI:misbah:yk

I spoke with my friend today. He is originally from Kashmir so he won't go that far to Sialkot. He will only go as far asIslamabad or Rawalpindi but apparently the TRD is not avaliable in pindi sports shops (the ones in Sadar) so he will try in Islamabad.

Aah okay, i was under the impression that it is already available in the market.

I have noticed that CA has used new grips for CA Plus 12000 LALA and CA Plus 8000 Tamim. May be these are better than the one they use for CA Plus 12000 TRD.

Ask you friend to go to Kashmir Sports (Khawaja Aslam, 03008559704, 0515519704) Kashmir Road, Rawalpindi Sadar. I was dealing with him during my College and University times and that guy has one of the best collections of cricket equipment. He will have the TRD and if he doesn't, give the specifications to him (weight etc) and he will arrange a TRD for you.

They should make one for Misbah.

Misbah hasn't done anything special with CA Plus 12000. They should make one for Younis or Afridi (if they manage to get him contracted with CA). Or may be Afridi's contract with Boom Boom will end after the WC and they intend to get him contracted. Thats y they have named it LALA but not released it in the market till now. Who knows?

Well guys I have just purchased a TRD bat on-line for £200 here in the UK. Will post pics when I get it in 2 or 3 days time.
I was going to get the bat purchased by my friend who was going to PAK this week but considering he was going away for 6 weeks with my season starting at the beginning of May I thought it would be too late so I paid the extra £30.

I actually purchased it on E-bay. Yeah I know its a bit risky but I asked the guy to send me photos first, which he did of 3 bats that looked all genuine with the holograms etc. The bats looked fantastic like yours, with lots of straight grains so I hopefully I will get a good one.
His list price is £229 but I gave my offer of £199 which he accepted.
