Dilshan almost had his hat-trick there before Mahela dropped a relatively easy one. Add that to his century today and it's a brilliant effort.
Has anyone else achieved a century + a hat trick in the same International match?

I don't think anyone has. I think Collingwood took 6 and scored a hundred against Bangladesh once, which was some kind of record at the time, don't think he got a hattrick though.

Yeah god spot.
Coincidently Collingwood was also on a hat-trick during that match.

I was thinking exactly this when Dilshan was on his hattrick ball. Then after he bowled, I thought of another possible record. This is something you can't research easily, but maybe someone will know...
Has there ever been a dropped catch on a hattrick ball?
