Has to be either Islamabad or Lahore.

Islamabad: Born there, spent entire childhood and studied there until sixth grade. But there's something to Islamabad that's very different: it's sort of busy, organized and silent in a way that can only suit that place.

Lahore: The buzz, people, (historical) places, foods, the language and of course there are family and friends.

I don't like Rawalpindi much - it's got a very army feel to it. It's the worst city to represent Punjab, totally misses the essence.

Islamabad, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Peshawar, not necessarily in that order. Least favorite would be Karachi by a country mile.

Everyone?. I guess you are confusing resentment for MQM as hate for Karachi?

Who hates Karachi? I doubt a real Pakistani would ever hate one of their own city.

To me all cities of Pakistan look dull and chaotic. No enetertainment place to enjoy anything. If I had to pick up one city then I would choose Karachi because of its diversity of population and maybe more opportunities for finding work. In terms of mannerisms and behavior, i find people extremely rude and ill-mannered in karachi.

It is more like which city is least crap than which is least beautiful. Honest opinion.

I still live in Karachi, Im a karachiite but I shoot from the hip. I tell things like the way they are. No sugar-coating. Why would a sensible person like to degrade his own city and country for no obvious reasons? when there are reasons then you need to accept them.

My hometown! Was born there, lived there for about 4 years. Love it to death, would not want to be anywhere else in Pakistan.

Beautiful scenery, great weather, bazaar is lively, great restaurants around the city, and loads of schools lol.

haven't lived long enough in any other Pak city to play favorites, but I don't think anybody can beat Lahore.

Islamabad is quite OK as well, wouldn't mind living there.

did not enjoy Karachi at all - the weather, the pollution, the way people speak...was just too weird.

but haven't seen it in enough detail, hope to see a lot more this September.

again haven't seen enough to give a definitive answer.

Islamabad (teenage life)

Chakwal, Lahore and Northern areas are special. There are other cities that attracts me due to various reasons (even just by name). Wish I could visit all parts of our country.
