The first trilogy is undoubtedly better than the second one but I have to admit ROTS was way better than The Phanom Menace (worst Star Wars movie) and Attack of the Clones.
phantom menace only has two scenes out of two hours that contribute to the story....quigon finding anakin....quigon dying
whereas attack of the clones was an overblown romantic shambles...made me sick watching anakin (whats his real name) attempt to b romeo
the las film in comparison is akin to the godfather but is still crap when we step into the real world

I honestly hate the guy who plays Anakin (Hayden Christensen)! Leonardo DiCaprio was actually considered for that role and I think he would have been a better Anakin.
The Phantom Menace was CRAP, Attack of the Clones was somewhat better while ROTS is anything but crap.

dis hayden dude dun a good job in ROTS IMO. I luv the way he was all cute and innocent in the beginning and yet without even changing his facial expression or anything, with the same face he looked evil at the end....dat was de only decent part of the film along with the ending

thats perhaps the truest form of love. all this myth about love not being selfish is utter rot boysie. every great emotion is selfish.
i would define love as the strongest positive emotion.a gut feeling of sorts.

that poem i have studied in depth
that is the count who talks to the messenger of his future wife about his past wives
there was a verse in there where he talks of her ranking his gift of a 9 hundred yr old name with that of a common man
brilliant read, that poem
but getting bak to ur point,
hmmmm
im not susre about being selfish...i undastand being inconsiderate to the rest of the world...for example...if i was on a plane to see my lover on the other side and somebody would fall ill on the plane and we had to make an emergency landing...i would not feel for the ill guy...his living or dying wont make a difference to me...all i would care about is the time waste before i could see her

lets put it this way, love seeks to satisfy itself. you want all of her to yourself, thats selfish, if you decide to be noble, you're doing it for your own ideals and image of yourself, thats selfish. No great love seeks to satisfy anything but itself and the lover. the beloved is merely an object there

i dont know if its about romanticism per se, its natural human love. all love is fundamentally that. we try to make it noble and think that we can do so if we equate it with selflessness, but that is an error.
some might say that love is dissolving into another and not knowing where one begins and the other ends. personally i think you cant get that without a bit of hashish but thats beside the point ;)
when has any lover ever been unselfish?

i dont know if its about romanticism per se, its natural human love. all love is fundamentally that. we try to make it noble and think that we can do so if we equate it with selflessness, but that is an error.
some might say that love is dissolving into another and not knowing where one begins and the other ends. personally i think you cant get that without a bit of hashish but thats beside the point ;)
when has any lover ever been unselfish?
hmm must say i agree....
this is a pointless argument because we can find human incentive in everything....therefore reason for u to call it selfish

Charlie & the Choccy Fcatory should do well because over the years, kids have read the Roald Dahl classic and loved it.
I myself saw the original film (1973???) many times as a kid, and with my kids.
Whether they like the new version will be revealed shortly, but apparently it is a better film and represents the book better.

Since I've been gone (not that anyone except my fellow Athiests would have noticed), I've watched War of the Worlds, Fantastic Four and the Island.
None of them were all that great. WotW was fairly ordinary. Fantastic Four had some decent action scenes, some funny moments between Johnny Storm and Ben Grim and then there was Jessica Alba. Not much else though. I was actually falling asleep and that doesnt happen to me at the cinema - I think only once before
The Island would have been the best of the lot though.
Want to see Wedding Crashers though - sounds like a laugh riot.
I knew that Jessica Biel would be the only reason to watch Stealth and reports seem to confirm that

divx quality movies are almost always around 650-700 MB. Those files are divx. But I don't use torrents.
One other problem is that Star wars is not out on DVD yet. Usually you have to wait for that for the divx to come out.

Hero, that of Jet Lee? I don't like him.
Have you seen Jackie Chan's movies, they are class.
Also anyone seen The Jackal, how is it?

i liked jackie chans old school movies... i think i get a bit annoyed by the comedy ones now..they neutralise the effect of jackie's martial arts
dont judge hero before u see it
i thoroughly enjoyed the film
and no havent seen Jackal....what is it?

The Jackal has Bruce Willis is what I know.
No I didn't mean I won't or don't wanna see Hero, I just don't like Jet Lee, his action-puna is too unrealistic for my liking. Jackie Chan does it more realistically yet seems unbelieveable.

Saw Happy Gilmore today on TV. It's OK. Hilarious at times with a very cheesy storyline. Adam Sandler was quite good in it.

a friend gave me a vcd.. his friend, a comic artist in new york, i heard he is an intern at marvel did the art and voices were lent by his family and friends. it was an hour long.. not impressive animation but it was cool considering it was a home production.
basically a spin on a Pakistani "captain america" .. some pre-independence freedom fighter buried in snow in the himalayas two weeks before 14th august, discovered and brought back to life in the present day... the idea was an exact rip off of cap america but the Pakistani twist and the story itself were pretty damn good.
