was Stupid! So many holes in the plot that it would put a stripper to shame. you can watch it for pure nonsensical morning entertainment(which means its better than alex...) but all in all a poor movie

Just saw Kingdom - I liked it - very watchable and visuals are stunning - lot of Assalam-o-Alikums in there but all in all a very neutral ( almost pro Islamic ) theme.

So my verdict - watch it while its on the big screen - dvd/video at home will not have the same effect!

Also, he is definitely not the only reason I'm going to watch Kingdom of Heaven - I love war movies and am a big fan of Scott's Gladiator if you want me to provide a list of reasons behind my interest in Kingdom of Heaven. It's true looks play an important role in acting and almost all other aspects of life, however for the nth time, I don't only watch movies because of good looking actors. I have nothing against Law personally, lets get that straight...I disagree with your argument that Law is a wonderful actor, which he really isn't....The directors pick him because he fits the autrociously written characters written these days.....

I don't offended by movies very easily most of the times since it's just a movie and never really abusive or anything.Why are you apologizing, but thank you anyway......Your'e right most of the times I'm not offended by the movies, and you know how muslims are being portrayed in movies these days....What I found paticularly offensive in touch of pink is the particular terms that director/script writer put in without porviding any context, so it would be alien unless you are an ismaili, and then showing particular ceremonies for absolutely no rhyme and reason.....I mean to show muslim is fine, but then to show the inner workings of Ismaili culture and words without the context, it projects a distored perspective....

I do think Farell is a good actor - i mentioned it many posts ago on this thread! of all the british actors in hollywood, Law, Bloom etc etc he is the BEST.
I do think he is a tw@t BUT i have to admit he is a good actor. i thought he did a good job in Minority Report, also The Recruit with Al Pacino he didnt do a bad job in that film!
