secondly, I find many of them too artificial...

I saw Gladiator first. Firstly I think Crowe suited more to his role than Gibson to his. Secondly fight scenes looked more real in Gladiator. And all the money that went into it could be seen when watching the movie. My opinions. Pathetic mostly. :-D

intern academy was full of crap, it's like u had to keep the remote handy every 5 minutes or so...utter crap and waste of money

spanglish had just two crappy scenes, but it completely ruined an otherwise pretty okay movie

as for indian movies...at most around 2-3 movies a year if even that much...a movie has to be highly recommended for me to watch it...because bolly movies have little storyline and are getting crappier by the year...same problem as english movies...hardly any family movies out there...

The original Bad Boys (1983) starring Sean Penn and Salma Heyek is a classic (dunno if anyone's seen it)

Agree with Hitman on Snatch, a must watch. But disagree with him on Gladiator, Braveheart was much better!

Sajjad have u seen U-Turn? (Sean Penn, J-LO) thats a weird film but brilliant.

Gattaca starring Ethan Hawk and Jude Law is another very underrated movie.I highly recommend this to anyone who hasnt seen it.

Leonardo DiCaprio's performance in The Aviator as Howard Hughes was Oscar material. He had to play an aviator, womanizer, Hollywood producer and fanatic and I have to say he played each role superbly. Incredibles is aimed at all ages as well Hitler's mum.

Two big differences in them are, Shrek 2 was based on fighting for love, and Incredibles fighting for good. The other being, Shrek had friends with him, Mr. Incredible had his family.

i havent read that novel yar but the movie was quite good actually
day lewis is ofcourse day lewis.

door in the floor is also a must watch. Being Julia is another one if you can handle slowish movies.

and The age of innocence, scorcese was excellent as a director there I felt.

ofcourse goodfellas and casino are also to be watched for the more masculine type ;-)

Schiller, great list! Except Legends Of The Fall; that movie was way too bland. Some good performances though.

I also watched Collateral last night. What a great freakin' movie! That's what I missed in action movies; interesting dialogue that will keep you glued to the screen. Jamie Foxx rightfully deserved his Oscar nomination for this movie. I will definitely check out Ray now.

I get condused between the names, didnt arnie make a film called collateral as well??

Anyhow, i agree with you, it was a BRILLIANT film! Like you say it had a interesting dialogue, i really enjoyed that film!

The one with Arnie was called Collateral Damage!

Collateral is a brilliant movie IMO.

Alright! Collateral Damage was rubbish

I know. As is any other movie starring Arnie (with one or two exceptions)

Collateral Damage was rubbish indeed! If it wasn't for the Terminator series, Arnold's ass would have been back in Austria building up his dolays!

Collateral was one of the best in an ordinary year.

Got to watch the Aviator today. It did NOT deserve an oscar. Caprio was good but certainly NOT oscar material.

It had its good moments but turned out to be one of the most irritating movies I have ever seen. Some parts of the three hour marathon were difficult to get through.

I wouldn't recommend it.

I LOVED The Aviator! It was magnificent!!!
