View Full Version : Is playing your 3 best batsmen in odis a luxury?
Can Pakistan afford to play Younis, Inzi and Youhana? And fit in to a Woolmer style team?

Yes, I think that he is coming to the conclusion that the right formula is for 3 bowlers, Afridi, Razzak, Akmal and 5 batsmen.
Wouldnt it make things easier if Inzi or Youhana took some responsibility and batted at the top of the order like Tendulkar does?

Yes that would mean that Salman, Malik, Inzi, Yousuf and Younis could all then play instead of the other shaky openers.
Taufeeq has a bad record to date but at the very least should be back in the test team, dont u agree? and probably odis too but that leaves a choice between Malik and Younis which you dont really want.

I like to see him in the team but at the moment its not looking good for younis
So malik at 3 and the rest is easy to fill in...
yeah but he is such a good player he should be. as i say Inzi should show some leadership and bat at 1/2 position.

No man inzi we cant open with him !
younis competes with malik and yoyo but at the moment they are better...
Younis is better than Malik for me. Youhana should open then and Inzi at 3. That would send out some message to the Aussies.
