248/6...can we got collo early and press on the advantage?
Hey is our openers to see off the first 10 overs and then start to open up for the rest of the batting line up. It is extra fragile with Kamal and Raza.
PapaBear
30th November 2005, 03:34
Its gonna be a Hassan Raza show today inshallah
Geordie Ahmed
30th November 2005, 03:35
should be interesting!
would be brilliant if we can get England for under 300 BUT the longer Collingwood stays the harder it will be! i think they will probably get closer to 350
patient batting is the key for us - its important we dont rely on Inzi to get us all the runs, we need the others to score a big one aswell to release some of the pressure of the big man
Geordie Ahmed

if we cannot get him caught or LBW, we just have to bowl his butt down! I do not mean throw poor ole Salman(Butt) into the wicket, I mean knock Mr. Desperate's stumps over.

PapaBear
30th November 2005, 03:52
The problem is Collingwood can not hear the wood! So we have to knock his wood off, use Salaman or anything.

Shoaib's on now, collingwood takes a single off the first ball.
new ball available in 1.5 overs now!
His_Excellence_
30th November 2005, 04:07
the best would be, the debutant's middle stump flying out of the ground, but damnit! the guy has a pretty decent defense.

Amir
30th November 2005, 04:15
How did Udal get out?
Big inside edge off pad straigh to Kamal at short leg. Umpire didn't look to move but Udal walked since he knew it was surely out.

he's getting the batsman to go after the deliveries...he's toying with him by keeping it at a very good length, and at the same time keeping his line clean, and his pace right up there in the 90's and beating the batsman

yaar there is no harm in being a little positive for a change. Back the boys. We have played magnificently and beyond most peoples expectations in this series.
all the more reason that we want to win ...that last wicket stand in 1 st innings of 2 nd test match still haunts ..but I am very happy with performance of Inzy , Salman , Akhtar and Rana to some extent ..rest all haven't played that well ..which is ok ..bcoz everyone cannot score runs and take wickets unless it is Australia in Australia

Well, this isn't that bad at all, actually very good. Pakistan are not going to face the new ball in early morning conditions, even not tomorrow. And they only allowed England to score 40 runs for those 2 wickets today. I think they will be very satisfied. Now they need to get a good start, just play untill lunch for no wicket.

admit it...the BIG secret's out Raz, sami is...undeserving of his spot in the test squad. it doesn't matter how many undeserving wickets he picks up...he's one of the worst test bowlers around today...and his existence in the team is keeping promising, and talented youngsters out of the team...so yeah...he's not worthy of anything...he's a waste of space really, and that doesn't deserve respect...that deserves the axe!

exactly. Sami fans who are now relieved that their wonder boy has taken 2 wkts in 2 ball are proving they dont know anything abt test cricket. going through scorecard Sami has taken 1 more wkt than Shaoib which doesnt mean he has bowled better than Shoaib.

Fellas relax. Just be happy that those pesky tailenders did'nt hang around it does'nt matter who picked the wickets. Like I said before stats dont mean jack. Shoaib bowled much better then Sami all day today and yesterday. No one who saw the game can argue otherwise but the stats dont say that right. Just be balanced in your views stats are just that stats they dont paint the whole picture and more often then not they are misleading.
