I want to see Pakistan win and win comfortably. I want Pakistan to rise up in the rankings and be the force we used to be in Test.

Is it wrong for me to just want to see my team perform like any others out there.

Look at England Lions Vs Sri Lankans that was a 4 day match and still produced a result.

Eng Lions scored 493-8 (dec) in 109 overs and Sri Lankans 266 ao 63.4 overs.

Then Sri Lanks followed on 448 ao 104 overs needing Eng Lions 222 to win and they were 183 ao in 47.3 overs.

Pakistan are 188-3 in 70 overs when we should have been at way above 230-250 at the rate we started 4-5 rpo!

There was no need to go on the defense because we were doing very well there was no collapse and partnership was being built too!

Different conditions, different pressure, different players.

Also, SL havent suffered the amount of collapses we have in the past 2 3 years. So thats why we mostly bat with a defensive mind set these days. We need experienced, established players to change the approach of current test team. These experiemced men will make sure that youngsters also play with positivity and not bat with a defensive approach. Misbah is not the best example when it comes to rotating the strike. And the younsgters dont know how to dominate a test attack. They will only learn to do so when they bat with quality test players. Thats why the presence of both Yousuf and Younis is a must in the test team.
