hahah too soon to say that but it kind of feels like the mission impossible movies.

Especially the scene at the end where he holds priyanka by the wall, kind of like the scene where tom cruise/handie Newton scene in the lab.(MI2)

SRK wants to get stamp his might in Bollywood after everyone shunned him (except Karan Johar).

Salman is flying high these days and he made sure that SRK had no firends left in Bollywood. Most actors and directors are on Salman's side.

If this movie bombs, SRK is officially done.
Good joke. I don't watch many BW films except for Hrithik, Aamer & SRK but trust me SRK is in no comparison to the toilet humor of Salman Khan & his buddies like Akshay Kumer.

SRK is know worldwide. People who don't even know BW know him.

But back in Bollywood, SRK lost all his friends. This movie is very important for him. If it bombs, it will be a serious setback for him. Especially with Salman giving hit after hit.

I seen the trailer a few weeks ago. It looks pretty good... I must say Sharukh looks more like a lafanga with long hair, then a actual Don. I still believe that someone like Jon Abraham would be more fitted to the 'Don' role, it just doesn't suit Sharukh Khan for some reason.

Desite that, I'm looking forward to the film, I think it's coming out during Xmas - one film to keep an eye on, along with Salman Khan's Bodyguard and John Abraham's Force.

Swades ?? I watched it for some time in TV. I have never seen a nasa scientist crying like this and trying so hard to illuminate one bulb.

Fortunate enough to have a Nasa scientist in my family and I can no way relate to him. :))

The trailer looks really good I must say.

Also Salman Khan is not even in the same league as Shahrukh as far as their acting and accomplishments are concerned.

I will be honest, Salman movies make little sense to me and his humor does not amuse me. He still can't act well enough to be bracketed along side top actors like Aamir, Amitabh, Nana etc.

SRK is very charming both on and off the screen and his humor is far more witty and refined.

The only SRK movie I found it non-SRK kind was "Chak de".

Chak de, swades and paheli were all decent movies.

Love stories featuring him suck big time. his role is made over the top and his acting is always a lesson in melodrama anyways!

I know most ppl will blast me for this but I enjoyed the new age Don more than Amitabh's Don (Saw them both only a few days apart).

However I do remember watching Don (old one) as a kid and thought it was one of the most awesome movies ever. Not stood the test of time.

True!!! And also I liked how story was changed in the newer version...more complex than the amithabh one giving it ample scope for 2nd part. Will be interesting to see how the characters end up in the 2nd one.

the trailer for don 2 in the op is the best trailer i have seen bollywood produce. having said that, i can expect the movie to be full of cliches and pseudo-hollywood like stunts which don't have much relevance to the storyline.

SRK gonna go head to head with Tom Cruise this Christmas.

And obviously, he's gonna lose hard. Aam public should love it though, its their mission impossible (looks like they completely ripped off Cruise's stunts from MI:1 when he breaks into CIA).
