Test average of 47 in 2009, 42 last year and 40 this year. Are you seriously suggesting this man would not get into the New Zealand, Pakistan, Australia, West Indies, Sri Lankan, or Bangladesh middle order?

As long as he does his work well, why should anyone bother whether he calls himself English or not? It has been a bad couple of years for KP. I hope things turn around for him after the India tour :)

I would bet that he would return to South Africa once his cricket days are over, as will Trott most likely. Not that it makes any difference, they aren't breaking any rules by adopting English nationality for their sports careers.

Just like a lot of people from Sub-continent go to US / UK / Dubai / S'pore and come back after a few years to their native lands....
