Banners must be 770 X 100
Backgrounds must be 1300 x 1400

Edit-This image is only 557 x 600. I do have the 1300 x 1400 version as well...however, when I posted it, it was too big and one couldn't see the whole thing in one view. Anyways, if required, I will post the bigger version as well.

I just use Photoshop. Experiment with layering and opacity to achieve that effect in the previous background.

Here is another background (I sort of went with an urban type of design): This one is for our women's team.

Oo..I didn't know these backgrounds would be used on the site. I thought they were just for showcasing talent. In retrospect, that was perhaps a very dumb way of thinking about it. Anyways, I modified the background in the previous post so that more "stuff" is near the sides. I am guessing that with the forum, it will look something like this:

Same thing happened to me. Thankfully, I just had to tinker around a little bit with the original design.

Z_R, just move afridi to the corner so he doesn't get hidden by the forum. All must see the man's epic-ness :afridi. I like your smoke effects by the way.

Making banners/backgrounds was a good away of spending time inside my home due to the terribly hot weather outside. Let the creative juice flow! :D
