and if seen , suaad and say have the same sound , why do we not use just one of those letters ?
alif and aa'eeiN ( ainak wala ) said the Urdu way ( not arabic ) then there is not much difference there either .
or qauf and kaaf ( kuttay wala ) , only a small minority gets the sheen-qaaf right now , the majority says both the letters same .
tay and toye and zuwad and zoye have the same sounds too .

Seen and Suaad are pronounced differently in Arabic.

yea , arabic letters are pronounced different too , if you read the arabic qaaida
we do it the persian way . that is the reason why we say Ramzan and they say Ramadan .

Yeah, and we pronounce ث like "s" instead of "th" in Arabic, and ذ and ض like "zh" instead of "dh" as in Arabic.
