However, on this pitch, chasing this total, against these bowlers (Colly, Blackwell, Plunkett), it is a bit ridiculous.

He came in at a juncture where losing another wicket would have been pivotal in the match, but no less pivotal than the pacing of his innings.

A horrible job by our bowlers, an also-ran type job by our middle order, and a sorry effort in the field were Pakistan's contributions to this game.

Taking nothing away, England batted superbly, particularly Straus, but despite the English efforts this game was there for the taking.

Umpires do make mistakes -they are humans after all.
However - when the mistakes happen to going against one side, then you have to wonder. Sure England got a couple of rough decisions. However, Pakistan have had far more in proportion. Especially from Darrell Hair.
