Yes I know what its like, there was a time when I used to chat, for over 8 or 9 hours 'continuous', but now I'm here at PP ... but really its like you're among real people but in your home at the same time ... there are many things we can say to eachother which we might not be able to in real ... you care for eachother same as you do in real ... also its kinda whatever you say no one can get you :D ... without seeing eachother, meeting eachother, its a weird but amazing experience, a bondage, a relationship, you can't explain.

Isnt it just about which actress revealed the most flesh with her 'daring' dress?

catwoman
25th February 2005, 22:10
Jamie Foxx better not win because I don't want to hear another long-ass speech from him like the one at the Globes |-F . The best actor award is reserved for Leonardo DiCaprio. He deserves it the most for his role as Howard Hughes in The Aviator. :-p

Thats the million dollar question, which apparently I'm willing to sell right now.

I haven't seen Ray but have seen him in Collateral (he's nominated for best supporting actor in that role) and he just overacts like the rest of the black actors. Leo on the other hand, acted superbly in The Aviator. It certainly wasn't an easy role because he had to play a womanizer, a fanatic, and an aviator. I haven't seen Finding Neverland though, but am also supporting Johnny Depp because he is one of the best and most versatile actors though Leo is the first preference! :-p

Oxy

You're all celebrity freak! :-D

Geordie Ahmed
25th February 2005, 22:29
Mona just cos you fancy Leonardo!

How can you make a general comment like all black actors overact???
I saw Jamie Foxx in Collateral and in a NFL film, he was very good in that!
Denzel Washington is arguably the best actor in Hollywood and he is black!

catwoman
25th February 2005, 22:33
Jamie Foxx annoys me to no extent with this lame humor, over acting and that typical "ghetto" style. |-F

Leonardo DiCaprio's was just superb in The Aviator. Hell, he even won the Globe for it this year. You have to see the movie to find out :-)

Geordie Ahmed
25th February 2005, 22:35
Leo is a decent actor! Not in the league of the following;

Al Pacino
Robert De Niro
Tom Hanks
Denzel Washington

entralinks
25th February 2005, 22:36
Agree Gordie. Will Smith does overact, but is exciting in some way however. Samuel Jackson is another black actor who's not bad.

Geordie Ahmed
25th February 2005, 22:39
Will Smith is decent, mainly good in comedy roles!

How could i forget Samuel L Jackson who is brilliant!
Also Laurence Fishbourne is class. Morgan Freeman is a good actor!
So see Mona, there are good black actors out there! just cos you dont fancy them dont mean they are not good

catwoman
25th February 2005, 22:40
I also saw Jamie Foxx in Breakin All The Rules, gosh he annoyed the crap outta me with his overacting! Pathetic movie too. |-F

Well Leo is a good actor, I didn't think about him that way, but there's a movie I saw years ago, where he acted as a teenager using drugs and stuff, in bad company of friends, there he acted very very good. But other than that, not much. However would definitely watch Aviator, if Mona's so impressed by it. :-D

catwoman
25th February 2005, 22:43
The ones who are good aren't those typical "ghetto gangsta type" ones. Laurence Fishbourne played Morpheus very well in The Matrix (one of my all time favorite movies!)

My favorite actors are..

Tom Cruise
Al Pacino
Clint Eastwood
Pierce Brosnan :-p
Johnny Depp :-p

Yes I've heard that, but really I gotta see this movie, as soon as I get a deal with the night security guard of BlockBuster Video store.

I like films of all kinds - past, present, or future. :-D

No, after watching a movie of his, long time ago, he definitely is an Oscar material, I just think he needs some luck, possibly which would be if no senior actor performs that well in that year, but he still can beat them, maybe a bit more experience, some good movies and a couple of times getting at least nominated. Hitman your insults do not offend me for i am the the Wise man!
a wise man will lose his wise man status if he allows petty insults from snotty teenagers to affect him!

3rd March 2005, 01:38
What use is your wisdom though? You'll just die a wise man. Big deal |-A

Geordie Ahmed
3rd March 2005, 01:41
and you will die an unwise man!

3rd March 2005, 01:52
Exactly. What is the point of having wisdom then? We shall both die. It's just that one of us may die sooner because of the "wisdom" he posseses.

Geordie Ahmed

One will get money for that wisdom

3rd March 2005, 01:55
What use is money to a dead man?

anyways it seems like we have drifted from the orginal point!

Yeah, dont make silly remarks in future!

3rd March 2005, 02:01
"anyways it seems like we have drifted from the orginal point! "

Yeah and you've run out of responses :?d

OK, I'll just ignore you for now Mr. GA Wiseman but I must warn you. Handing out free "advice" is not good for you! ;-)

(P.S: We were competing for the Oscar, right? Who won? The Hitman or Mr. Wiseman? )

On the basis of this page the hitman edges the wiseman.

Wiseman you needed to keep coming out with answers. The 'anyways' post lost you 10 crucial points.

And I'm not the only one who thinks Leo should have won ahead of Foxx, who paid bribes...:-p

Gisele Hits Out At Oscars
Gisele Bundchen has revealed that she's gutted boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio didn't win the best actor Oscar.

But she's not just disappointed for Leo... she's actually furious that Jamie Foxx won.

The Brazilian supermodel said: "I don't think he (Leo) was expecting to win. I think I was more upset because I thought he deserved it more than Foxx. I was like, 'He did a better job than Foxx!'"

Gisele appeared on Leo's arm at the ceremony for the first time, making it a rare public appearance for the couple who've been dating on and off for four years.

She revealed that her support for The Aviator star Leo wasn't just because he's her boyfriend - but because she thinks he's a brilliant actor:

"I was really there to support. He's not just my boyfriend but he's an amazing actor.

"He's really talented and I was so proud of him. I figured I should go and support my man so I went there just for that reason," she said.

Leonardo and fellow losers; Clint Eastwood, Don Cheadle and Johnny Depp were all beaten on the night by Jamie Foxx for his performance as Ray Charles.

I totally agree with this churail

Ok maybe my Spanish is a little rusty ( read non existent ) and I didnt go to music school to appreciate Antonios notes etc - but IMHO, it was rubbish!

My kids love the "accidentally in Love" song - thats great - and Beyonce singing with ALW on Piano - strange combination of natural beauty and I dont know how you describe Weber !

Mona: What do you have to say for this! ? :oD

'Near the ground the frenzy is highly vocal. Just behind the practice nets is the hostel of the Sports Authority of India, which houses a batch of 80 girls, who are training in various sports. As the Pakistanis arrived fresh, early on Wednesday morning, the girls went mad, shouting their favorite player's name. The biggest and the loudest cheers went to … Afridi, no. Inzy, no way. Razzaq. Nah.

"Sami, Sami, Sami…" went the chant as the man with a boyish face and straight and long black hair went about his routines. When Mohammad Sami didn't respond the girls almost pleaded, "Saaaammmmiii, please, yaahaan [Sami, please look this way]." '

I didn't understand a word he sang but he sang quite well nontheless. :-D

That song from is just adorable. I'm surprised Shrek 2 didn't win for best animation since it did quite well in the box office.
