RHB - Basically when i come out to bat, i check all the fielders that are deep on the legside, even though it won't matter a few seconds later when i try to smash the ball. So yes, I'm a legside slogger. short ball, full ball, yorker ball, everything has to go to midwicket :P All aerial except the yorker which i try to keep it on the ground. I am most often dismissed runout (because i try to run for everything) and bowled (when i miss them yorkers).

RHS - right hand slow :P I usually do not bowl until the death overs and when my super-slow bowling comes into the equation, many batsmen mistime and get caught in the deep (straight or midwicket). ppl say the ball naturally moves away from the right hander off the pitch (basically like a legspin?) EVER so slightly so sometimes ppl get caught behind too

I usually play at no.6 or no.7 for my club team..so more of often that not I have to attack. But I have a very good technique to stay in the crease for a long time if I have to..just not so good at rotating the strike. My fastest Innings is 71 of 38 balls..but highest score is 131 of 141 balls in a 50 over match(last sunday actually)

Medium pace bowler ..always bowls wicket to wicket. Can ball very deceptive slow balls... Cannot swing much...but can bowl of cutters!! Best performance is 4 for 19 in 8 overs!! Most of the time dont end up taking wickets..but control runs!!

Batting - Tuk-tuk. Though I don't hold strike for long. I'm good at rotating strike, but sixes are rare for me (just like Rahul Dravid). When my team is batting first then I get chance to open. In that case I support the big hitter on the other end. When required run rate is high, captains always push me down to position 6 or 7. :( I like pull, hook and cover drive.

Just play tape ball cricket really (only time I played with a cock ball, ended up getting hit on the hand and getting a swelling) and we play on a roof so I can't bat as agressively as I'd like otherwise we lose the ball and that is considered as :out lol
I still get these shots of adrenaline at times and end up playing agressive shots and yeah, lose the ball in the process :afridi

I specialise in my fast bowling, am a right arm fast medium and I can bowl phaaaast, have bowled some great yorkers too. I can bowl googlies for fun :warne. There is this guy who is my bunny when I'm bowling them googlies

I'll just say: "Don't ask :afridi"
Honestly, I have to be the worst fielder ever, It'll be a miracle if I ever manage to take a catch in the field
My ground fielding is good though, and when it comes to a caught & bowled, I can take catches

I play tape ball cricket occasionally with my friends.I am a stylish right hand bat(my friends often tell me that whenever I play with them).I give very tough time to fast bowlers and am good at spinners as well.I can play all the shots in the book especially on the off-side.But I struggle to play off the legs....
When it comes to bowling,I love fast bowling that is exactly what I do(right arm).I am not very fast yet,but i am learning it more and also want to learn how to swing it often both ways.But I love to go as much fast as I can :akhtar

Opener, right handed, I play like Dravid in the beginning, kills the shine of the ball, after 10 overs, I get into Sehwag mode! Once I start seeing the ball, I usually don't defend ball, I look for the runs.

Medium Pacer who can outswing! I have very good yorker as well. At times I think I might be better bowler than batsman sometimes I think I am better batsman than bowler.

Let's just say I am perfect all-rounder. I like fielding as well! I like catching high catches, so usually fields at long off or point.

I am an attacking batsman who loves facing pace bowling regardless of how fast anyone is or how many short deliveries they throw at me, i go for everything and when am angry it gets even worser! well am not really an angry person but i think i get all macho and my ego kicks in lol......not the best player of spin often dance down the wicket going for one mighty slog but get stumped or bowled however when i play spin of the backfoot more tend to get more luck....typical position would be the lower order but more often than not i ask the captain to let me open and let me feast on fast bowling!! my blade finds pace so yummy :)

Now, i bowl spin with my head down lol (paul adams) but i am not sure what type of spin i bowl myself even!, i tend to bowl frequent googlies, and deliveries which are pitched short and dip low now these two deliveries even i don't know how i bowl them i only know how i bowl the delivery which pitches from off stump to leg stump hence i tell everyone i bowl off spin but the selector at my club and captain who have seen me bowl have said i bowl leg spin when i hardly use my wrist i only bend it sometimes but i never use it to get elevation or revs on the bowl my stock delivery to me i think is the one which pitches from off stump to leg but i know how to bowl that so thats why i call myself an off spinner but god knows how i bowl the other deliveries they just come out occasionaly and more often than not am surprised more than the batsman

I'm now officialy a left-arm spinner.

I feel that I've improved a lot. Before I used to be a left-arm spinner, but would sometimes even bowl left-arm fast. In my last performance, though, I cleaned bowled one of our best batsman with my spin, and got a tailender caught and bowled (it was only a tailender, but the ball was epic). I now consider myself as a spinner, and everyone praises my spin more than my pace now.

Also, before I used to attack, but now I'm completely different. I always keep the bowl on the ground, and hit drives when needed, ala Azhar. :azhar

My new playing style:

Batting: A sensible batsman who keeps the bowl on the ground and hits good cover drives, square drives, and glances. :azhar

Bowling: From a pacer to a spinner. :afridi I'm an offspinner now, and I really enjoy the job.


I'm a pure all-rounder that bats at number 4-5 and bowls as 1st or 2nd change.
