Project Man of the Match - Assign MoM to all the test matches ever played.

As Miandadrules said, it is unfair to players like Zaheer, Imran, Majid, Miandad, Safraz, etc when we talk about number of MoMs for the players.

I think, ICC should appoint a panel which should assign/pick Man of the Match for every test ever played.... just like they assigned the player ranking to the all the players who have played test cricket.

I don't think, ICC will do that soon .... so I thought, I'll start assigning MoM (with PPer's help) to all the test matches played by Pakistan before MoMs came in to it existence. If the project goes well for Pakistan matches then we can do it for other teams. :)

I have selected MoM for the first two test series. Let's discuss these and then move on to the next series. It was tough to choose between Fazal and Nazar Mohammad for Lucknow Test;

Personally I think that MOM awards are overrated and I don't pay them much heed. Half the time an undeserving player gets it anyway.

I agree with the choices except I'd have Nazar instead of Mahmood for the Lucknow Test (Nazar was in the field throughout, scored a century and took several catches).

But Mahmood is fine too--12 wickets MashaAllah.

Interesting, could give us a better indication of who were the true match winners.

3rd test was a toss up between Hazare and Mankad. I can understand why you went with Haraze, though.

The other choices look pretty good.

Great thread, all the choices are pretty good but maybe Mankad instead of Hazare for the third test cause Mankad took 8 wickets and also scored 77 runs in the test however Hazare is not a bad choice either

interesting, although there should be some definative way to choose, i.e. a poll for each game, it would take ages but its the only exhaustive method.
