Don't think I have seen a collapse of that magnitude for years.
Any other collapses of this magnitude spring to mind?

I left the match when both of them got to their 50's. I was like " The Razzaq-esque comeback was of the older days". I cannot believe I missed it. I came back when they were 8 down.
God bless you all!

Yes. Another Pak vs SL match in Sharjah in late 90s.
Chasing 196 odd, SL were 173/2 and were all out on 196 to leave the match tied.

Something the anti corruption unit should investigate if they were to prove their impartiality and unfairness, or its just a fact that the Sri Lankans are a really ordinary team at this point in time.

Yeah that was quite a collapse, we were set for a total close to 400 but thanks to it, made 320 only (only? lol )

Nah, we were 260-270ish at 40 overs, and ended up being 296 all out. Not even 300 lol
It was unbelievable.

The word "collapse" should be restricted where a team in a winning position loses after losing several wickets for a few runs.
That 21/9 or the India one in the WC aren't really that epic. Well maybe the 21/9 was but not in the same manner as the one today.

A lead of 188, and collapsing to 21/9 in the 2nd innings is pretty epic :D It was in test cricket too, where there's no pressure to score quickly. Although SL's one today is right up there as well.

We should have made 370+ from that position. That's what we usually do when we are at 270-3 in 40 overs

I'm sure there were talks of 'fixing'. But I don't think it was possible. The Pakistani fielders were actually getting direct hits (couple pf runouts) at the most difficult angles. And Razzaq was bowling banana inswingers in the evening.
