Why shoot at them when you could just arrest them?

At least six Pakistanis have been shot dead and two others wounded by Iranian border guards after they crossed the border, Pakistani officials say.

Officials say the incident occurred on Thursday on the Iranian side of the border close to Pakistan's south-western Balochistan province.

The wounded men and the corpses of the six others are yet to be handed over to the Pakistani authorities.

Reports say the men were livestock traders.

"Six of them were killed in firing by Iranian border forces and two others were wounded," local police official, Mujeebur Rehman, in the port town of Gwadar told the AFP news agency.

Earlier this month, Pakistani police detained three Iranian border guards after they allegedly crossed the border, and opened fire, killing one Pakistani man in a car they had been chasing.

Wouldn't have happened if both Iran and Pakistan agreed to fence and monitor their border. Iranians are jahil - couldn't they have fired warning shots or arrest them instead of murdering them?

Pakistan should pull out of the IPI pipeline right away and condemn Iranians at International level but PPP won't do this for obvious reasons...

Thats what i was thinking

Poor stuff by the Iranian officials. Why can't they just arrest them?
Pakistan should pull out of the IPI pipeline right away and condemn Iranians at International level but PPP won't do this for obvious reasons...

Im not a big fan of Iran. I dont trust them at all. I think all this standing up against the West and acting all tough is BS, I see it as a smoke screen. I may well be wrong and will accept it if I am, but at the moment I find it hard to trust Iran........
