There is no definite formula to play spin. I have noticed that batsmen who are known for dominating spin, they use combination of techniques. Quick footwork, adjusting to the flight and pace, know when to defend and when to attack, when to nudge and when to leave it alone. There is not a formula to play any kind of bowling. It depends on the skill and limitations of a batsman.

best way is . night before test match invite them on dinner and have friendly chat and be on their good books. pakistani bowlers are very hospitable as was shown when india came to pak last time.

The best players of spin like Indian batsmen, Lara, Anwar used a combination of attack and defense. It is important to defend good bowls especially when one is not able to read them but it is equal important to attack at the right opportunity to unsettle them
