Economy of 5 an over is bad... but there's no doubting Gully's match winning ability. Congrats to the man essential to our World T20 final in 2007 and win in 2009.

Despite doubts at times about his test credentials, there have never really been any about Gul-the ODI bowler.
His two performances against England in the last ODI series were a couple of his most memorable. Hope he can produce the same consistency and threat throughout this series.

Surprisingly 201 players have played 100 ODIs.... Gul will be 202nd.
But a total of only 108 bowlers have taken 100+ wickets.....and 61 bowlers have taken 145 or more wickets.

Khudaa naa karey..
don't worry, he would only play the great game if he deserved
After all It's not the pajama cricket where the public pressure :afridi or Firdous Aashiq Awaan could influence his selection

Well done Gulleya !
He is a work horse and i just noticed now that he hasn't been in any controversies. That's a wonderful track record for a Pakistani fast bowler. Good on him. He's gonna get a lot more wickets, hopefuly not against us. :veeru

honestly Im surprised he hasnt already played a 100 odis yet, he been around for a long time (since wasim/waqar), and hes been a regular in the team for a few years too... to put it in perspective UAkmal is already up to 54 and hes only been around the last couple of years.

Yeah me too man. His "match winning spell" in Mohali almost took us to the world cup final dude; The awesomeness of that spell still haunts me to this day.
just kidding, he is a great bowler mashallah! :yk

People can dislike him or whine about him as much as they want, truth is he has not disgraced Pakistan the way "great talents" like Asif and Amir have. He is reliable, hardoworking, and is improving. If only he can bowl those yorkers more consistently.

What happened to his yorkers? he used to be able to bowl them at will in T20 death overs... ? Great 100th ODI BTW, will be remembered for a long time - by Cook, Finn and Samit
