LAHORE: Wicket keeper Pakistan cricket team Kamran Akmal was engaged to Aiza Ilyas in Gulbarg here on Sunday.

A big number of people including his family members, relatives and others attended the function.

Those who congratulated him on engagement include Captain Inzamamul Haq, Shoaib Akhtar, Azhar Mehmood, Salman Butt, film actress Saima

Well he just became the sporting icon of the country, but no time to enjoy, his life is over at a young age! :P lol I am just joking, I am sure marriage is a lovely thing...

I think when Shoaib Akthar gets married/engaged I am sure Mushy will declare a national holiday :P

Quite a few of them, Inzi, Rana, Afridi and Kaneria, Razzaq and Yousuf are all married and have children. Shoaib Malik recently got married also if I recall correctly.

I saw in a Shoaib Akhtar interview that he plans to get engaged soon as well, but that interview was over a year ago I think.

i think the england tour set his standards higher and got engaged to a very pretty lady.....i wish them well in future life....and hopefully life after marraige will bring him better luck...although he is doing just fine at the moment..
