Hi All,
Will be posting some poetry and some words from it I am unfortunately unsure of... Read and enjoy it! Don't forget to post the meanings of these underlined words if you know them
To start off, the first couple:
1. इतनी आज़ादी भी ग़नीमत है,
साँस लेता हूँ, बात करता हूँ.
- अकबर इलाहाबादी
itanii aazaadii bhii Ganimat hai
saa.Ns letaa huu.N baat karataa huu.N
- Akbar Allahabadi
2. असीरो, शौक़-ए-आज़ादी मुझे भी गुद-गुदाता है,
मगर चादर से बाहर पाँव फैलाना नहीं आता.
- याग्न यास चंगेजी
[असीरो = prisoners]
asiiro, shauq-e-aazaadii mujhe bhii gud-gudaataa hai
magar chaadar se baahar paa.Nv phailaanaa nahii.n aataa
- Yagna Yaas Changezi
[asiiro = prisoners]
