This thread makes the most sense, i think we all no its coming and are kidding ourselves when we hope our own preferred team is selected. This surely will be the team, after all imran khan wouldnt waste his time if he knew sami wasnt going to play.

unless some thing drastically goes wrong the team picks itself. but i would open with farhat especialy after his century. malik might be a good bowling option but with kaneria and afridi there he wount get much opportunity to bowl

what i cant understand is..if afridi opens then we get another solid batter batter in by the name of asim kamal..we need a left-hander in the middle of the innings.........as i relaly dont see a place for malik in the test team really im afraid!

afridi doesn't want to open. he's done enough to prove he can be a good no.6 batsman in these conditions.

afridi is a must in the side when pak play India. That applies no matter where they play, in whatever conditions.

Hasan Raza has failed in all chances he was given and Asim Kamal is having a bad run of form in domestic games. Afridi is the best choice for no.6 atm.

Well Gul has not set the world alight yet in the current match, but I think Malik's place is under serious threat from Farhat and I think Imran may just get in ahead of him.

In a way I'm comfortable with the fact that 8 or 9 of our team are automatic selections.

Where is the razzler in all this? Is he an automatic non-selection..I dont think he has a place in the test side, but do you think Inzi might stick him in somewhere...Cant see where tho
