Oh boy. Here we go again. One defeat and the cat is out of the bag.
Afridi working on mischievous hidden agenda dethrone Hafeez and he's gotten the rest of the squad to give him a piggy-back ride.
Bring back Misbah. It is our only hope. We were wrong.
Drown Malik in the middle of the pacific ocean to ensure he can never return. (if possible drown Farhat with him)
Give a public lashing to Iqbal Qasim for bringing back Sami and Latif and selecting Shakeel Akma..sorry Ansar, a little hard to tell by his performance today, maybe he's a cousin?
While you're at it, bring back Imran Nazir and Fawad Alam and somebody PLEASE put Hammad Azam into the eleven because keeping out a talent like him is probably the greatest sin known to mankind.
Seriously? Get off your high horses people, you truly need a dose of reality. Stop, just stop with the darn conspiracy theories. Stop with the speculation, nobody has other motives or a hidden agenda. No #Satta. Stop with the Afridi-hating, he is not responsible for everything that goes wrong in this universe.
Pakistan has a history of being clumsy chasers, atleast in the last 5 years. Maybe it's psychological, maybe it's just an error in the composition of the team or in the combination but these things can get sorted out, there's always a way forward.
Stop being so full of hatred and frustration after one defeat. Stop calling for people's heads.
'Worst Team Ever Selected?'
'Players not playing as a team?'
This is utterly despicable. Scandals and controversies are almost synonymous to Pakistan Cricket, in fact, the British media would have you believe they are interrelated. We can't afford to be speculating about players under-performing to promote their own objectives or players doing politics in the team because it only dampens the mood and brings about more negativity. We wouldn't have seen any of this had our captain played a little more sensibly. The top order needs to start taking some responsibility collectively, you can't always have the lower and middle order bail you out. This is not the end of the world. They just lost one T20. Calm down.
Perhaps, selecting a Shakeel Ansar is doing more harm to the team's balance and combination than benefit, I haven't seen him bat too much but from what I've seen, ordinary might be an overstatement, also his keeping wasn't too much better than what we've seen of Umar Akmal in the past but it's probably too early to judge him. Ideally I'd like to have an Asad Shafiq in Shoaib Malik's place since he can keep the scoreboard ticking and play the Misbah role somewhat and occupy the crease but since Shoaib Malik is a senior player and Asad Shafiq is not in the T20 squad, that probably won't be happening.
Haris Sohail is an exciting talent, he should definetly be given a chance, he can hit the big shots and rotate the strike, he's also developing into a decent finisher so I'm hoping in a year's time, he could be playing the Hussey-Raina-Morgan role for us.
Yasir Arafat is a bowler, who has experience of bowling in different conditions, unlike Sami, he has different variations and can be an effective T20 bowler. He's also a fairly decent lower-order batsman, so in terms of utility, he checks all the boxes ahead of Sami.
As far as Hammad Azam is concerned, its obvious there's some kind of dirty politics going on, Zardari probably doesn't like him and the team is probably under strong instructions to keep him out, otherwise who can keep out the most talented player to don the green shirt since Wajahatullah Wasti :yk
