That Afghanistan is in semi-final is itself a big achievement and their cricket is going in right direction and that is nice to see.

But I think Pakistan will be too strong for them, but let's wait and see what happens tomorrow inshaAllah.

Not impressed by our opening pacers. Ehsan Adil 5 wides and 1 no ball in his 4 overs thus far, Azizullah over 6 run rate. Were pretty average against India too. Wish we had Zia ul haq...

Good thing Afghans are gifting us their wickets though, I don't think any of the wickets thus far were taken due to good bowling rather to silly mistakes.

LOL a guy just gets out and the next batsman does this first ball. Gives another chance next ball and is dropped:

7.3
Azizullah to Noor-ul-Haq, 2 runs, What are you doing, Rock? Short ball on middle, heaves everything at it, takes the top-edge and just goes over the 'keeper and slip

Why are you not impressed? They have taken 3 wickets and it's wrong to say Afghanistan have gifted away their wickets.

Afghans are chasing a massive total and they have no other chioice but to attack and you will make mistakes against good bowlers and that is what has happend.

Wides etc at this level are not unusual, especially when the ball swings and moves. Even in our senior team you have bowlers who bowl alot of wides so this is a learning curve for the youngsters.

And we have aldready dropped two catches and what can the bowlers do about that?

Afghans should have had half of the team back in the pavilion, before even 10 overs were bowled.
