Lunch Time thoughts

Okayish start by openers. RP Singh looks to be the newest in a long line of trundlers although he does bring it back to right handers, still innocous unless your name happens to Shoaib malik and you leave your bat up the air, close your eyes and duck which the perfect way to play a short ball that would not have bounced above the first rib.

I am still not sure if Butt was out but MoYo and YK have steadied the innings and were looking pretty solid with a flurry of boundaries towards teh tag end of lunch, particulraly sweet were the two in a row of India's Kumble (still the fastest Indian bowler).

Dispapponited with negative and overly defensive Pak team selection combined with another dead track which shows signs of turn but I think that turn is about to be baked out of it. It looks like it will assist spinners on Day 3 and 4 and Pak may have made a serious blunder by picking only 3 specialist bowlers with a potential that Shoaib may further aggravate his ankle injury.

Waqar needs to shut up. Every time he criticizes an Indian bowler a wicket falls, or for that matter when he praises a Pakistani batsman. Ramiz also carries the same curse. Anyway one can see that my frustration with Waqars commenting is pushing me steadily into the realm of irrational behavior.
