There is a chance BUT i doubt it!

You have been hit by inuries, no doubt about it!
The problem is that you have too many rubbish players like Biscan, Smicer etc etc these need to go asap!

I think next season we will see a better and stronger liverpool side, providing they can keep Stevie G. otherwise i think they will struggle again next season unless they make a massive signing, to compensate for Stevie G

I think Alonso is good enough to make sure we don't miss Stevie who is certainly leaving.

For £30m we can get lots of players. Names that spring to mind are:

Ayala
Aimar
Vicente

Aimar scored a good goal against real today! he is a cracking player!

Alonso is brilliant BUT Stevie G is Special! its impossible to replace him!
Its important you buy the right CM to compliment Alonso. if Liverpool can buy Essien BUT Man-U, Arsenal etc are after him so thats unlikely!

Rafa needs time, im sure he will do the biz! hopefully for you lot he doesnt just but La Liga players.

The little i have seen of him, he is superb!
He is a Stevie G type of player! very good defensively and good going forward! i think all the big teams are after him!

Stevie G is REALLY off form at the moment, unfortunately.

Just saw MOTD and the Liv v NU highlights.

I still back Rafa-we have some really bad injuries to top players, and he also inherited the likes of Djiof/Biscan/Smicer/Triore etc etc.

v Newcastle. We had ONE shot all game so NU deserved their win. It was a fair free kick, and when lazee boy Robert steps up to take it, you just hope that the 1 good game he has in 10 is not against you!

Carragher had a good game today! apart from the end where Kluivert turned him!
He has improved a lot from when he first came onto the scene!

I agree with Oxy, i think too many Spanish players have been signed! they are a bit too soft imo! you need a few hard men to do the physical work!

Robert surprisingly has been playing really well lately, he is actually helping the left back a lot more and he has played a massive part in our recent good form! i just hope he can keep it going!

Another thing i gotta add, Boumsong is brilliant, Liverpool must be gutted he didnt join them, for whatever reason it was!
