Well...the first two dismissals were very good bowling. Yousuf basically got out on a simple in-dipper. Played too early, without any considerable foot movement, didn't have his front foot in the line of the ball and just played too early. Imran Farhat hits pathan for another 4, he's looking good. Afridi looks like he's seeing the ball bigger than most of the batsmen...I have a feeling he'll just do fine in these conditions. Good bowling nevertheless by Pathan, it's the perfect start by India. Pakistan should play intelligently now. there we go Afridi hits a straight drive for 4

OZGOD, your instincts tell you correct. Although, not taking anything away from the way the Indians have bowled today; brilliant line and good control. They have taken great advantage of the conditions. But 4 out of the 6 dismissals have been poor shots. Farhat showed some patience and got off to a good start only to throw his wicket away to a bad shot. Kamran akmal now is playing brilliantly, late and moving his feet very well

Every one was calling for Mohommad Yousaf's head untill 2nd test against England after that he was lucky to get 3 flat tracks and made the most of it and was founf out again on a track with help for seamers. Younis I agree got a gaffer but he should have played it late just a small mistake and he paid for that.

Barring the 2nd Test in West Indies we have won test matches on helpfull batting conditions over the past two years or so. When conditions assisted bowlers like in Australia we tumbled down to big losses.

Lets get a grip and face the facts. THe ball was swinging a bit for the first few overs and we paid for playing just the swing instead of the whole delivery. All you have to do is watch it out of the bowlers hand and play it as late as possible. Nevertheless, that was then but now the two boys are launching a rearguard action. This debacle has not exposed any weaknesses as far as the players or coach is concerned. THe only weakness now would be to get carried away and start another round of pessimism in the PAK ranks which we have managed to avoid for 2 years now. Make no mistake, this team is a fighting, praying, battling unit. Inzi has changed things totally. Its a new PAK spirit which pervades the whole team. Everyone is a fighter now. Even if we get out for 100 and the ball stops swinging post first session (as it has) I'd never write our team off. THats how pumped we are now. JUst wish Inzi was here today. He would have given a masterclass in batting proving why hes the best out there.
