Gattusso is a dirty b@stard. He elbowed Giggs deliberatley and Giggs had to go off. IMO, that was the turning point in the match. Up until then it was even, but after Giggs went, we were shiite. Ronaldo was too selfish. He had loads of chances to put players through but went for glory instead.

p.s. Bayern will cane Arsenal tommorow, so i don't know why Amjid is so chuffed.

Milan's defence is just too good. I knew before the match it was good, but it's better than I expected. Even with Ruud, Ronaldo, Rooney, Giggs and Scholes we still didn't make many chances.

If Giggsy's shot went in in the first half, the game would have been so different. Ruud had a few half chances as well and if he was fully fit he might have buried them.

AJ - it was ***** defending -was simply we defending too high up the pitch. I agree though we need strengthening there - barca have always played that way - deemed champagne football or total football - attack is best form of defence.

Strange u mntion that AJ - so ur views on brazil are that they aint that great then? it aint all about defending - we just messed up by defending too high up the pitch - puyol was a sole warrior there - we need a partner for him though - and belletti/van bronckhorst are great going forward but defensively are inept - belletti got caught out a few times. we werent outplayed by chelsea - over two legs we were pretty even and only a fool or an irritating little boy would say otherwise. That decision was crucial. Chelsea went through - honourably? NO but they did which is the fact. Man utd were the ones that got outplayed.

Difference was our defence was found wanting but our attack did its best to mask that. We have a weakness to work on but man utd simply were awful against milan - never really threatened them consistently - milan almost strolled it in the end
