It went to the dogs years ago. I guess the dogs have spat out the bones, and now those bones are ashes.

Riddles with bureacracy!

I have a solution. Fine everyone that misses an appointment. MILLIONS of appointments are missed every year - imagine how waiting lists would be slashed if people stuck to their appointments, or cancelled - thus giving someone lese the appointment.

Wont happen of course.

Nothing wrong with paying for missed appointments; plastic surgery type procedures;

Yo could put a £ billion a day in the NHS and it will be gobbled up by administartors/managers/overtime etc...

I'm getting fed up with going to hospital and being seen by people who cant speak peoper English; are clearly only doing it for the money; cant explain what is wrong/treatment etc.

Nothing against Indian doctors - but they just arent trained to our specifications- and their accents are infuriating. Dont get me started on Pak doctors from overseas!!!!!

If thats how I feel - imagine what your average 'Joe Public' feels??

too much beauracracy - too many managers in suits advising on what is best for patients/what treatments can be afforded rather than looking at what is best for pt.

Oxy - ur idea of fining pt's for non attendance is a great idea and been suggested before but hasnt been implemented which is beyond me really
