After the India series it will be 2 per innings :-D
The only other person who can match Afridi is Andrew Flintoff he has a phenominal record aswell.
Averaging 1.02 per innings, but he has only played half the innings that Afridi has played.
A Flintoff 80 71 11 2111 123 35.18 3 92.95 73 1.02 ENG
Watch out for Kevin Peterson in a few years time, he has only played a handfull of ODI games but he is a big clean striker in country cricket...

frankly, i care more about afridi helping his team win then breaking the record.
afridi knew he had to pace his inning yesterday---> but he kept going for the glory.
how is that any different then what ***** does??
afridi needs to understand that there are times for going for the big shots , and times when he needs to last longer.
For a player who has played international cricket for so long, he should have known better last night.

Afridi should have stayed there. I think its just the love for the country that can make u giveup going for records. If he really was as determined as Rana I think Pak would have won. Im so dejected. We should have won.

Please come on. Since when has hitting a six become more important than a good batting record.
He has one good performance in 10. That is not good enough.
A dirty slogger is not what Pakistan need.
However his bowling is coming along well to justify his inclusion in the squad.

he isnt just a batsmen
he is primarily a bowler who can bat
and does both quite amicably in my mind

Exactly Sajjad
He was ruined when people started calling him a batsman

ppl still think of him as a batsmen.
He has always been a bowler who swings quite hard and rocks the opposition in a matter of minutes if not seconds.
if our top order would work we wud not need his heroics
