The Second Inning Woes for Bangal Cont ..In order to be good test team they need to score runs in the second innings ...
Crap .. they dont seem to learn ...

It's a tricky score for the OZ to negotiate though. The pitch is keeping low and scoring will be difficult. Nonetheless, I think the complacency's well and truly been knocked out of the OZ batsmen now.

if Australia win this, This will be one of the best chases in subcontinent.
The ball is keeping low and turning and 300+ has to be chased.

92/1 Aussie - doing well - I dont foresee any problems in completing this run chase - it may not be done in quick time but it will happen.

I believe Australia is still not out of trouble. This pair has to carry on for atleast another 100 run partnership. Still Australia will need 100+ runs on a 5th day track in the subcontinent. It is not easy.
All depends on Ponting...apna hero Ponting.

Comforting Miggy. I want Australia to win. But it is not going to be easy. Plus remember Australia are playing a batsman less.Aus played an extra bowler in this match.

58.5 Shahadat Hossain to Hayden, OUT, Run out! short of length ball on the stumps, Hayden defends on the back-foot to mid-on and takes off for a single, Enamul fields and hits direct at the bowlers end, TV Umpire called for, was very close but Umpire gives it in favour of Bangladesh!

Bangla need Gilly and Ponting today
and also they should go for new ball straigh away after 80 overs, they didn't got new ball in first Aus Inn and that helped Aus to reduce lead

Who was the fielder, i feel sorry for the poor guy.
I once misfielded to give 3 runs away on the last ball of the match when there should have been one and the match was tied (they needed 4 to win). It remains one of my most embarassing moments in life.

Its a real shame the way this match is looking to end, considering the opportunity Bangladesh had to really stamp their authority and put the result beyond doubt.
Many (including me) thought this was going to be that match, the one to make history. Unless somethiing special happens after the interval, it'll go down as the one that got away.

Tho i hope Bangladesh can take some confidence from this - they have taken the best team in the world to the wire, i mean that is pretty amazing - when was the last time we did that?
Hopefully this is the turning point in Bangldeshi cricket - they can only go forward from this point - good luck to them unless they play us :D

Yeh, when you look at it in an overall type of manner- basically its the best tets team vs the worst test side so its a great performance by Bangladesh to be competitive and push Australia to their limits.
But after their first innings batting performance and then taking a big lead into the 2nd innings, one can only think 'what if?'.
Well, I hope this is not the last time we see Bangladesh with such an opportunity against the Aussies. And if the opportunity arises again, I hope Bangaldesh are good enough to take it to the aussies and win!

100.5 Shahadat Hossain to Ponting, 1 run, DROPPED! short delivery, Ponting goes for his favourite pull shot, gets a top edge high in the air towards fine leg, Mortaza runs in and tries to take the catch, drops it.
with that bye bye bangladesh, guess you wont have a better chance to win a test in the next 10 years atleast!

They may not beat Australia for another 10-15 years now but they are surely close enough to beat other test nations. They almost ALWAYS crumble in 2nd inning, the difference between their first and 2nd inning is very much like Sehwag.

Another Test, yet another ton - the magnificent batting juggernaut rolls on. 31 down, merely 4 to go - should be piece of cake for one of the fittest cricketsrs in the world. Ponting accomplished today what Inzi did few seasons ago and saved his team from utter embarassment.
Bangladesh lacked the killer instinct, and paid also for the small things that count in the field - strategic field settings, pressure play etc.

Really glad to see the Tigers give the World Champs a good run for their money. The spirit they showed to come back this morning and take wickets was superb. You have to give a hand to Ponting thoug for being so calm under pressure. He is a damn special player.
