Rao will be effective in England and may NZ to an extend but not sure about sub-contienent. Mohammed Khalil needs to work on his swing, he is ok to push the ball away from right handers but doestn't bring it back into. However, he has managed to bring the ball in the last matches only by a little margin but is good enough prospect.

Rao Iftikhar mainly swings it away from the right hander but can also swing it in. Although he is over 6 foot tall, he doesn't use his height to great effect. He is a line and length bowler at around 80-85 mph but unlike Rana, he doesn't get any bounce. I can't see him playing many Test matches but he is decent for ODI's.

Khalil is a left armer with similar pace to Rao. I have not really been that impressed by him. He hardly swings it or gets bounce. Quite frankly, I find it hard to believe that he is the best left armer in pakistan. I've heard about Zahid Saeed and Samiullah Khan on PP and hope they are better

Very ordinary bowlers esp. Rao, like asif these two will also be forgotten very quickly ...

Khalil can improve and become a very good left armer if Akram works with him... he has shown some ability to bring the ball IN which is essentially an outswinger for lefties which got him the wickets.

If all our pacers are fit, Khalil complements our pace attack very well:

Shoaib: Right arm genuine pace
Sami: Right arm genuine pace
Rana: Right arm swing at 140+ kmph
Shabbir: Right arm seam and bounce at 140+ kmph
Khalil: Left arm swing

We know there is a high chance some of the above will be unfit at any given point in time :( so we need to persist with Khalil on future tours.
