Did the Indians get their beloved Bonus point?

When Rao was batting i seriously thought that the bonus point was within their reach, but after he got out everything went downhill. :P

Deafening Noise, Jubiliation here in AbuDhabi , all credit to Pakistan says Ashok Malhotra, Taufeeq played with great strategy to crush indian quickies early. Ramiz Interviewing him.
Misbah played great, Hassan kept the momentum and they were ferocious in last 10 overs. They destroyed Indian feilding in last 10 overs. Says Ashok.

Great Feilding by Pak A, no catches dropped. He couldnt understand why venugopal did not accelerate says Ashok. All credit to Pakistan A, entertaining full house.

last 10 overs were the difference in both innings. ... while pak batsmen were outstanding ... indian batsmen could not get going at all.

I bet India is already dismissing this as 'non-event' and taking offense to their choking label :>....

Major confidence booster for the Pak youngsters. Niazi also came to the show today. To top it all, some truly magnificent catches taken - even the last one by Arafat running back in the outfield was fabulous.

The players look so ecstatic and over-joyed. Earlier before the ceremony, they did a victory lap with the players waving many Pak flags to the loud cheers of the jam-packed stadium. Reminded me of the Amstelveen match.

"Non-event", my foot! Venu Rao, their skipper seemed distraught during his interview, and Arun Lal was just depressed downright.

Had they won they would have celebrated like they have won the World Cup. They used to say Sharja matches were all won because of match fixing.

taking the catch, Umar's elbow hits Bazid Khan jaw and he's down
at the moment, Physio attending on him" cricinfo

IS Bazid OK? Did he stay in?

Then from their side, that is not saying much of their own players like Azharuddin, Jadeja, Tendulkar etc. :D

He had to leave the field, he is OK though, I have never seen a catch not dropping even after a collision, It was going straight into the hands of Bazid Taufeeq came from no where running backwards not knowing Bazid is behind him Taufeeq catches it and falls on Bazid, hits the ground does a summersault and ball is still in his hand but Bazid is lying motionless as his neck bends while his head hits the ground, all celebrate ignoring Bazid, then discover he is injured. It was nasty to watch but he got up after sometime and left the field.

New indian excuse just in:

Hafeez chucks :))) :))) :)))
Hafeez also needs an operation? What shocks me is that commentators contiued throughout last 15 overs saying what India should do to win (incl Rameez the Indian Raja) they forgot to say how Pak A were choking runs with excellent bowling and fielding but when they lost they started praising Pak A. I guess they were waiting for a Miracle so they dont have to Praise pak A. :O :O :O :O :O :O :O

I cant seem to locate a scorecard for the match - Cricinfo having some technical problems perhaps :P ?

Well done to the "A" team. Just goes to show that despite the obvious flaws in our domestic structure we keep producing quality cricketers and the occasional gem.

umar gul 146 kph?!

Yep Umar Gul bowled a delivery at 91mph/146kph but the rest of his deliveries were around 135kph so it was more of an effort ball than genuine pace.

Arafat was averaging around 87-88mph though

If waqar gets Arafat to run in and not stroll in... with his physique he can only get faster.
