Game starts tmoz, so will this be another boring high scoring draw with both sides batting up runs galore against pop-gun attacks? Or will either side manage to take 20 wickets and win the series?

Another draw for my money. I think this series is destined to end 0-0 after 4 tests which is really bad for test cricket on the whole.
Too many draws these days, pitches should be alot greener and bouncier.

Selectors don't really give a rat's ass about Lara's wishes for a FAST bowler.
India in West Indies 2006
West Indies announce unchanged squad
Cricinfo staff
June 29, 2006
Despite Brian Lara's plea for an extra fast bowler, the West Indies selectors have made no changes to the team for the final Test at Jamaica beginning tomorrow. West Indies, in fact, have gone with an unchanged squad for the last two Tests.
John Carew, the convenor of selectors, hoped for a win against India, to end the season on a positive note. "We are definitely on the upgrade and will be looking to end the season with a win against the Indians at Sabina Park," Carew told Press Trust of India.
"The last seven years have brought about positive results from the Sabina track, and I will be hoping that this will continue in the final match, with the West Indies being on the victorious end," he said.
Before the announcement of the squad Brian Lara had said that there was a lot of confidence for the team to be gained from St Kitts Test, but had also hinted in no uncertain terms about the need for an additional quick. "But we played an extra batsman - that meant we were less a bowler - and I'll say it again, if you want to get 20 wickets, you must pick the players that can get them." With Bennett King, the coach, being part of the selection panel, Lara would have hoped that he would be tossing the ball to Jermaine Lawson or Tino Best to open the bowling at Sabina Park.
West Indies had scored 581 in the first innings of the St Kitts Test and bowled India out for 20 runs short of follow-on, but did not enforce the follow-on, owing mostly to bowler-fatigue. India did attempt chasing the West Indies' set target of 392, but it was mostly given up after Virender Sehwag lost his wicket with 283 more runs still needed for a lead in the series.
West Indies and India have played all three Tests out for a draw, so Jamaica will see both the teams going for a win to seal the series.
Squad: Daren Ganga, Chris Gayle, Brian Lara (captain), Ramnaresh Sarwan (vice-captain), Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Runako Morton, Marlon Samuels, Dwayne Bravo, Denesh Ramdin, Ian Bradshaw, Pedro Collins, Corey Collymore, Jerome Taylor.

I'd bring in a FAST bowler, Lawson, Powell, or Best in place of Morton. He isn't going to play in the final Test and he hasn't played any test so far anyways.

There arent many available to be honest.
Tino best is a liability and looked crap against zimbabwe. Its all good having bit of pace but Tino as a player has gone backwards.
Lawson has still got issues with his action and WICB selectors wont take the risk.
That leaves darren powell and fidel edwards (if hes fit).
W.I fast bowling resources aint that great.

They cartainly aren't but why Darren Powell isn't in the squad at least is something I fail to understand.

Bradshaw offers a bit of batting as well, which is why he is probably preferred over the other three.

Most teams have this policy now of picking mediocre bowlers who can bat abit rather than a good bowler who cant bat!

Man you confused me. I thought the match was on last night. I predict a west Indies Victory. If its a draw or West Indis wins India Come below Pak in ICC Ranking and even if India Wins we remain third on point basis. Now if we beat England in tests we will be the No. 2 Side Inshallah.

Sehwag and Jaffer never really got an opportunity to settle in, the quicks just came at them with all guns firing. Both Pedro Collins and Jerome Taylor were especially impressive with their line and pace. Now thats a cracker:)):)):)):)):)):)):)):)))
And BTW the actual reason lies here:
Thanks guys! It's been progress at snail's pace as far as Indian fans are concerned; Very few runs and just two boundaries in the entire session - not too many Indian fans would have enjoyed that. Here's a fact that will keep you interested - again pertaining to the Sabina Park.
Cricinfo fact file: The Sabina Park, where West Indies and India have locked horns in the final test of the 4-match series, has been witness to the shortest match in the history of test cricket. The West Indies - England test match in 1998 lasted all of 62 deliveries (action packed though). England were reduced to 17 for 3 in 10.1 overs after chosing to bat first, when the match was abandoned because the pitch was considered dangerous to play on. This is the only record of a test match being abandoned after it had started because a pitch was deemed 'dangerous' to play on. I prefer to watch great cricket. As everyone knows i'm a fan of the great Glenn McGrath and he isn't known for his entertaining cricket at times. I'm a real purist. Yes the fast innings are great to watch, with all the strokes played at their best. That is brilliance. This though is a different type of brilliance. Given the situation, the pitch and the bowling, Dravid has played a blinder and it's superb to watch him do it.

They need to now bat well in 1st inns and get a big lead and bat only once. I dont think they will want to be chasing to many batting last.

The bowlers have set up the game how we wanted -- Brian Lara (bbc sport)
West Indies skipper Brian Lara wants his side to bat India out of the final Test after skittling them for just 200 on the opening day at Sabina Park.
The tourists struggled against some accurate bowling on a pitch helping the pacemen but Lara is eyeing a big toal.
"There is so much time left, it would be great if we can bat all of Saturday and Sunday and put ourselves in a really strong position," he explained.
"If you see off the new ball it's a run feast until the second new ball."
Lara insists India's problems were more down to good bowling than any demons in the surface.
"The new ball was a major factor, the ball did something but after 40 or 50 overs we realised they didn't look troubled at all.
"It was the effort from the bowlers which created the position we are in.
"Hopefully the pitch can deteriorate more but it's going to be a hard task getting them out again so we'll have to give ourselves enough time."
Paceman Jerome Taylor was the star for the hosts, taking his first five-wicket haul in Tests on his home ground.
"Jerome's overall stats aren't impressive but he's an outstanding youngster and from his first Test in St Lucia against Sri Lanka I've thought highly of him," Lara enthused.
"Unfortunately, he's had problems with injury but if he can pass through that and play for some time we're going to see him come to fruition."
Taylor, 22, added: "My line and length was impeccable and I was in control of what I was doing.
"This pitch offered more assistance than previous ones I've played on and I tried to bowl a fuller length when the ball was swinging.
"I'm stronger and fitter, both mentally and physically, but I still have a long way to go and have to keep improving. "
India skipper Rahul Dravid insists his team can still fight back - if they enjoy a good day with the ball on Saturday.
Dravid top-scored with 81 to rescue his side from 91-6, adding 93 with Anil Kumble (45).
"It's probably a score which we can fight with, but we've got to bowl well," he said.
"It's not a score we're happy with, there is no doubt about it, but it's a score to fight with.
"We fought back well, we've got something on the board. It's just important how well we bowl now.
"If we bowl well and can restrict West Indies to a decent score, we have the advantage of batting third and forcing West Indies to chase a target."
Dravid making sense, as usual.

Lara is quickly turning out to be a very ourspoken and whining captain. Though bowlers did a gr8 job for him, it was a very difficult wicket to bat.
I wonder what he says next when his team is out for 103. This has been an excellent bowling track so far. The moisture of day 1 is gone yet it has loads for fast bowlers and spinners alike. None except Dravid who is the most technically sound batsman of modern era, could bat with any sort of comfort.

The batting from both sides has been terrible, even if it is on a testing pitch.
On the whole West Indian batsman get their pads in the way too much. That is why Vaas decimated them a few years ago with his inswing and that is why Kumble has struck the pads so many times this series.
somebody go and take a dump on Dravid's face please

Aloo Sehwag is gone.
No Sehwag is more of a jr Aloo.
Inzi is more of a king edward potatoe, the royal variety, Sehwag is a smaller more common potatoe ie red potatoe.
For all practical purposes, potatoes fall into two easy categories — baking potatoes and boiling potatoes. There’s also a middle ground, but we’ll get to that in a minute.
Probably the chief difference between the two types is the amount and nature of starch each contains. Baking potatoes are relatively high in starch and it is called amylose starch. Boiling potatoes are low in starch and it is called amylopectin. This pectin (just as with fruit for jams) is what holds the potato together when boiling or in soup and stews.
Baking potatoes
These are also called starchy potatoes. They tend to be long and have a coarse, cork-like skin. They are high in starch, with a dry, mealy texture. But, they turn light and fluffy when cooked.
They are ideal for baking, mashing and French fries. They are light and fluffy baked, light and creamy mashed, and frankly, the only potato worth frying.
Some of the names you’ll see them under in the supermarket are Russet Burbank, Russet Arcadia, Norgold Russet, Goldrush, Norkotah, Long White (or White Rose or California Long White), and Idaho.
Boiling potatoes
These are also called waxy potatoes. They come in a variety of shapes and can be long or round. They have a thin, smooth skin and an almost waxy flesh. They are relatively high in moisture and sugar, but low in starch.
They are ideal for soups, casseroles, potato salad, roasting, and barbecuing because of their tendency to hold their shape. You can mash them, but instead of smooth and creamy, the results tend to be thick and lumpy.
You will find them sold as Round White, Round Red, Yellow Potato, Red Potato, Salad Potato, La Soda, Red La Rouge, Red Pontiac, Red Nordland, Red Bliss, Yellow Finnish, Ruby Crescent, and Australian Crescent.
Now, there are some potatoes that fall in the middle, in the "all-purpose" category, such as the Yukon Gold, Peruvian Blue, Superior, Kennebec, and Katahdin. They are moister than baking potatoes and will hold together in boiling water. They are particularly well-suited to roasting, pan frying, and using in soups, stews, and gratins. They can be baked, mashed, and fried, but will not produce the same results as the bakers.
And finally, as you must know by now, a new potato is just that — an immature, small potato of whatever variety. Red potatoes may be the type most often sold, but that does not mean that a red potato is a new potato or that a new potato is a red potato.
So to conclude they are both Aloo but one is a tastier potatoe, I think Inzi is the better allround potatoe, Sehwag doesn't look as tasty. But if you peeled both of them and sliced them and then fried till golden, threw them into old newspaper and added salt & vinegar to taste........would you be able to tell the difference??????????? :)))

Thats pretty unfair.
First, no one was calling this pitch underprepared when India struggled to 200, people were just making fun of how slow Dravid was batting. Plus its a WestIndian pitch, India had no say in this pitch preperation.
Second, India should have won the first 2 games, deprived only by lack of time/weather etc.
Its hypocritical to not give credit to India, and especially, Dravid who stands heads and shoulders above any of the batsmen in either team(including everyone's darling Lara).

Very few teams can claim to have won a test series in the West Indies recently and India dont win abroad very often. They deserve their moment.
