Its really a shame that once we used to hammer India and now all records are being broken. What a past it was for Pakistan, Golden years. Once Inzi goes we will have a team of mediocre players with no real talent.

Indian batting is too strong to pakistan a chance of winning. Sehwag,dravid are absolutely key, but even tendulkar is hitting form, ghambir has been solid. Only frailties are ganguly n laxman, but we all know they are quality and they will hit form sooner rather than later.

Also pak bowling has been poor

Of course we CAN win it. We could thrash them on any day if we played to our potential. We would have humiliated them in this match if we played to our best on day 3.

But I don't think we will win it. India will be better prepared and the form of our bowlers is not good enough. India will always get a minimum of 400 runs which puts pressure on the batsmen to deliver. In order to win our batsmen must score at least 450-500 given the current form of the Indian batting.

Also, we seem incapable of playing our best cricket for more than 1 day. We only seem to have 1 good day in each test match and we need to play well for at least 3 days to win.

Well I'm quite optimistic. Pak can win it, it is just about how well the team play as a whole.

The bowlers have to do a good job, and also the batsmen have to spend time at the crease and accumulate runs without playing any needless shots because this is how the Pak batsmen get out. They usually throw their wicket away.

Pak have to ATTACK. This is a must win game to save the series.

Anything is possible, but I'm not sure it is highly probable that we can take enough wickets to win a match. A draw is more likely.
Also, Taufiq Umar needs to be kept as far away from the team as possible if we are to have any chacne of competing.

If Pak is to win a test in India then it is likley to be after a heavy defeat such as calcutta. It will be atall order but if these paks get out of the rights side of bed then they can do it. InshALlah!

Well yes they can but they won't. Our bowling isn't capable of taking 20 wickets and you can sure as hell expect the curator at Banglore to make a batting haven of a pitch.

Pakistan can't take 20 wickets with current bowling line-up. Danish can pick up wickets but if he goes 7-180 it means that India have scored 400+... we can't win with Indians scoring 400 in each innings! Sami again we have to rely on... or if one of our strike bowlers sitting in pakistan with injury could come back...

Why not. We did it in the 2nd test after Multan thrashing. we did it in the 2nd test against Lankans. we can defo did it again. our bowling was even weaker than this one which defeated Lankans. and Lankans batting is also very strong. as every one said we have to be positive. on the 5th day Pakistan were too negative sp after the wicket of YK. anyway i hope they play Arshad Khan.

Somehow Pak can bounce back if they comes up with possitive mind. Only Inzy cannot win the test. He should get consistent support from others. New boyz are really good future for Pak, as of now they dont have experience but as and when they become mature they will be hard for any side. I have dought with Pak experience, Afridi have a lot of experience but still didnt use his full talent. But some new comes like Kamal really do "Kamal" on field.

i can't see Pakistan winning the match, atmost we can draw the match. we don't have our strike bowlers (all 3 of them, Shoaib, Shabbi & Gul), & whoever we have are not at all doing well. Sami has become used to spray the ball all over the place, Kaneria can't pick up more wickets without giving more than 100/150 runs, Khalil, being a left armer, is useless with his away swinger, can't get an lbw from there which relaxes batsmen quite a bit aganist him.

guys!!! bowlers win you matches, batsmen can draw it, you have to pick up 20 wickets to win it. the only other way i see of winning is that opposition declares at the position where you can chase them which is as stupid to expect as asking an established football player to become successful in cricket from the 1st day.

To be honest dont expect too much from this team. We are really weak in the bowling department. Once we have Shabbir, Sami, Gul, Waqar Ahmad and Shahid Nazir in the squad then our attack will be just OK but nothing special. At the moment we are just like the windies.

I don't think Pak can win this test either. I am thinking the series will go 2-zip! Inzi and his team seems to lack the aggression and team spirit required to win games. I always think Waqar Younis was a good captain! He knew how to take risks. Other than that, traditionally Pakistani captains play defensively and play to draw the game intead of going for the kill. That is exactly what they did right from the start at Kalkota.

I think at most it will be a draw or an Indian victory. Lets face it Indian are playing better cricket than us. We are not good at test crickt coz we like "slam bang thank you mam" type cricket.

Kind of reminds me of wickets produced in Pakistan sometimes in Faislabad and Lahore.

Its the sort of wicket teams make 600 runs on - the big odds are on a draw, assuming Pakistan dont collapse. The Indian batsmen are going to make merry here as well.

Pakistan have their work cut out if they are going to try and sqaure the series here - going to be very difficult. Hope I am proved wrong.

What will come out on this pitch perhaps is some of our batsmen scoring runs and therefore mitigating the criticism.
