I am not sure about the details of the new contract that these guys signed with the PCB, is he eligible to play county at all. Does he need PCB's blessings to play. I am sure a lot of counties will be keeping a close eye on his performance

he was linked with a County recently shikari. I think it might have been Sussex. He has played league cricket for a number of years and has good experience of the English conditions.
Wouldnt surprise me one bit if a County asked for his services.

Rana actually played for a cricket club a mile away from my house called Bardsey (in Leeds). A lot my friends play at Bardsey and they mentioned his name to me a couple of years ago saying "Do you know this guy called Rana??" At the time I didn't have a clue who he was! Couldn't believe it when I saw him playing. I hope he comes back to play at Bardsey.

to be honest I hope he doesn't waste his time playing pointless club cricket at a level that would make pakistan customs vs lahore railways look like the world cup final.
If he wants to play county cricket for a year or two it would help him.
