How many overs will England play before they declare? O will they wait for bell's 100?

Dont think they will declare or if they did that might take one more hour

I dont think they will declare - its best for Eng to have the decision taken out of their own hands to be bowled out.

Very few teams declare in the 1st inngs in the modern game.

That said - if Pak cannot take the remaining wkts in the next 75 mins, Eng may declare - which would be quite embarassing for Pak.

So Pakistan will have to play 3 days to draw the match.

Also depends on ow RUTHLESS Eng are - dont know how Strauss thinks...and what influence Fletcher has on him.

I know what Nasser Hussain would be doing!

but any team with 500/600 on the board has a good chance of winning no matter who the captain is.

Draw..Bah humbug..Pak are gonna win this one, they are gonna rack up a score of 700 by tea time on day 4 and then bundle england out cheaply by lunch time on day 5

They'll wait till at least 550 and most probably 600 to declare

The diff between 500 & 600 (i.e 100 runs) may determine whether you need to bat again etc - so it depends what strategy Fletch & co have.

I think Eng will push hard after 550 runs and go all out to get a quick 600 - and declare.

That's quite wishful thinking ziggy, and I doubt England will get past 525, if Pakistan continue the way they are. I just hope they don't lose it again like after 88-3. Maybe they won't even go past 500...InshaAllah!

Umar Gul to Bell, 1 wide, quicker bouncer, oh, it’s called a wide. Bit unfair really, mind you, it was miles above his head and threatening to down a pigeon. “Gul downs a pigeon,” might be the headline (sorry)
